Excellent food, generous portions, and o-o-oh, the sauces. Don't overlook the cucumber/jalapeño margarita, too. Went Saturday such that service was a little slow but we still made the movie across the street on time. They serve adult beverages too. Great date - wife pleased,!

Meh. I have always been disappointed whenever I order from here. But sometimes it's the only restaurant close by that is open when the hankering strikes. Staff seems like they could care less. Food options are plenty, but quality is so-so. It is what it is... tourist Mexican restaurant.

Food is very good - fresh, light, and perfect spice levels per the large menu. Staff is friendly and efficient. We visited multiple times & came in well after closing on our first night in town. We were thrilled when Owner and wife accommodated us with a couple of take away platters and gave us a nice intro and overview of the local area for our vacation stay.

Delicious food, great menu, the people were amazing, they were packed and only had one server and she was working hard to make sure everyone was doing good. I highly recommend this place if your in Paonia.

Had a shrimp dinner. Not sure what it was called. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced.

Ok. Very surreal experience- in a bad way. When we walked in, we were told to grab our own menus at the front and to seat ourselves in the other dining room. When ordering, I asked to sub a meat out in the dish and was denied. 🤷🏻♂️ had to go with Plan B. During dinner, I asked my son if he liked his taco salad and he said it was ok but it had broccoli in it. I asked for a bite and I noticed my sons “taco salad” was filled with basically vegetable stir fry and topped with sour cream and guacamole. Why? 🤦🏻♂️ Rice and beans were terrific. Salsa had a nice kick. It seems to change hands every few years and is the only gig in town. We go with our relatives when we come to town every few years and this, by far, has been the worst experience.

Nice and friendly staff...took a little longer for food but understandable as it was later at night on small town. It was all tasty and great margaritas. Portions aren't huge but they're enough. Queso was great, just a little cold. Chips were 👌

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. $65 well spent. There was flavor, drinks were strong and food was filling. I love how all the employees work together as a team at every table. Great customer service, they are some of the kindest and friendly staff one could have the pleasure of working with. As an individual with Agoraphobia, I have a very hard time going into places, but I felt very comfortable with the relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are going through Paonia. I also recommend the Cancun Platter (Scallops, real crab, (one other seafood but I can't remember). I normally don't do seafood platters, but this looked so good on the menu and tasted even better. We will be coming back often.

Almost your classic authentic Mexican restaurant, lots of art and comfortable both seating. Great happy hour drinks, I had the jalapeno cucumber margarita with a chili salt rim. I had the Camarones a la diablo, which were decent, not the best I've had, but an overall standard spot. Sopapillas were excellent!
