This Cvs pharmacy is terrible. I usually get my prescription quickly but this pharmacy must have ignored it and then quickly filled it once I called hours later. Coincidentally “oh it’ll be ready in 15 minutes” then was ready an additional hour later. Then I needed a second dose of my prescription, as advised by my prescriber, and they didn’t want to refill my prescription even though I have a refill because it was too soon. Well to clarify an employee originally answered and she said hold on and explained the situation to her manager Dereck.. he then picked up and flat out was like “no” “you need to contact your doctor to figure out how to take your prescription” …. No Dereck. I know exactly how to as I’ve been talking to my doctors daily and spoke to her right before speaking to you.. actually I was on hold for over 15 minutes before even getting through to this pharmacy. Now my email says, “We've received your order and will begin processing it shortly. If we run into any issues while filling your prescriptions, we will contact you or your prescriber.” So why is it when I asked dereck he said he’s not going to contact my prescriber when it’s advertised that he would? It wasn’t until I got mad and brought this up that he was like okay, I can try. No, just pure laziness. I also asked him why the employee would instantly ask him if there wasn’t something he can easily do? That left him speechless. I took care of it all and my doctor will be reaching out. What a ridiculous pharmacy. And on top of it Derek offered that if I want my prescription I can pay full price without my insurance to get it today. A loop hole that would go against what he’s saying the doctor prescribed. Or Derek just do your job, contact the provider and ensure I get my needed prescription today like I’m supposed to without any issues.

Always screw up the prescription orders. Not the first time I had a problem with them. They need better training.

Rudest people I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. I'm sorry I have a heart condition and take so many meds, I know it's very hard on you.

The lady at the window is one of the meanest, rudest, and terrible human beings on the planet. I just got out of the hospital with a broken leg and badly need my pain meds, in agony, while she gives us the run around, I hand her my in’s card, and she couldn’t figure it out, so I said fine I’ll pay out of pocket…magically they are all out of painkillers and she asked me to leave and come back Monday!!! 3 days from now! Worst people I’ve ever dealt with, no sympathy for anyone but themselves and their phones. They all need to be fired.

This pharmacy is very poor in customer service. There is awlays an issue every time I go. I have experienced prescriptions not ready hours after they said they would be, rude workers in the drive-thru....and btw expect to wait at least 20 mins there....and once I was waiting in line and they closed without notice....definitely changing...a better place to get your rx!!

I've been going to this CVS pharmacy for a few years to pick up my monthly script with no problem. My Dr renewed my script at my last visit with no changes whatsoever... After renewal, each time I went to pick up my script the pharmacy would tell me the Dr hasn't approved it. I'd call the Dr office and sure enough, they had put it through, same as usual. My Dr office would try to call CVS in Putnam and could not get through to talk to a person and get it straightened out. I would try to call and couldn't get through either. Finally went to the store pharmacy and insisted they call my Dr office to straighten it out. The same day CVS pharmacy called my Dr, I got an automated text later that day saying my Dr hasn't approved the script. Needless to say I went for apx 3 months without my script because CVS would not straighten out an issue that was clearly a problem on their end. I now go to Walgreens in Putnam and they are fantastic. No issues whatsoever.

If I could give negative stars I would. My grandpa has stage 4 cancer and is on hospice, I tried twice to get medication for him and the people were so rude working. I'm never mean, and I've worked in a pharmacy for years. They walked away from me while I was talking ( a question that would of taken 10 seconds of their precious time), and went about their own business. I went back and a person from up front was cashing people out in the pharmacy and she cut me off while I was talking again and pushed me along. Now I have no answers while my grandpa suffers. Waste of a pharmacy.

The absolute worst CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They have zero sense of urgency or concern for their customers and very rarely have any medication in stock. When an antibiotic/pain medication is prescribed, the customer requires these meds immediately. This location will make sure you get it within 4 days, but only after several phone calls from customer and Doctor. Totally unacceptable. Our community deserves better CVS.

They generally seem uninterested in being helpful to those they serve. I had left my prescriptions with another CVS because I liked their customer service better, however I accompanied my partner to this location yesterday for a Covid test. The person at the drive thru window told us he has insurance, but was unable to tell us what kind of insurance it was (he's in the middle of changing companies). She was also very short with us, and uninterested in helping us find a way to get this test done. Her tone mixed with her disinterest in customer service have assured I won't be returning to this location.

The pharmacist clearly felonously photoshopped her diploma. I received a weeks worth of medicine at a time (something very important that I can't go without) and given several refills. After a week, I returned to refill my prescription and was told I would have to wait 11 days because it "wasn't a week yet." After getting the old bottle, counting on my fingers for hers, and showing her a calendar, she refused to help me. I stood in line and called corporate and have not seen her since (I followed up). If zero stars was an option I would have rated it.
