Very difficult to reach when needed … I found the techs not very compassionate when treating my dog :(

We have been very happy with Redding Vet since switching from another practice in Wilton about six years ago. We see Dr. Angela and think she is fantastic - very thorough and patient. Most importantly, our dog is very comfortable with her!

I have been using this practice even before Phil Bolton took over about 20 years ago. He is by far the best, most knowledgeable and compassionate vet I have ever had. He has extensive experience in emergency medicine and will do anything to prevent pain in an animal. I was in shelter work/animal rescue and placement for nearly 30 years and helped run Animals In Distress Cat shelter in Wilton for 10 years, as well as managing a feral colony in the woods for over 10 years. I am very particular and I know a lot about animals myself. I trust him and his wonderful staff implicitly.

I recently brought my kitten here for a first time check up. The staff were all very helpful and professional, and followed up later to see how he was doing. I highly recommend Redding Veterinary Hospital to care for all your critters.

I moved from Connecticut to Rhode Island and miss a few things, one being Dr. Bolton and his staff. I am doing the car trip of almost 3 hours because I trust Dr. Bolton. Patience, expertise and kindness that is why I do this trip.

We love Redding veterinary clinic! I brought my very distressed pup, Lilah to them Monday morning, without an appointment and they took her in and cared for her right away. So kind and comforting. Lilah was treated and within a very short time was feeling immensely better. We are so grateful for the staff and superior care! I believe Ellie was the vet tech(if I am wrong, sincere apologies but she was amazing) and the vet was Dr. Muoio.

We just started using Redding Vet this year with our two cats and one dog and we are very happy with our experiences with all of the vets as well as the front office staff. They are all courteous and thorough and the office is clean and well-organized. I recommend them highly!

Dr. Bolton and staff are fantastic! We trust them completely with all of our dogs needs and have never been disappointed in the care we've received. Dr. Bolton always takes the time to explain things no matter how big or small, his staff always follows up to make sure everything is going well, and you know they really care about your pet and you. You really can't find better quality care than RVH.

Outstanding, "above and beyond" level of care given here! I have been bringing my 4 1/2 year old pug to this vet office since he was a pup, and have been very satisfied with the level of care and service we have received. But recently, something happened that resulted in Redding Vet providing us with care that truly did go above and beyond what could be expected. My pug had a very bad, negative reaction to a routine vaccination (which, in the past, had caused no problems whatsoever). I rushed him back to the office, where Dr. Block, Sara, and the rest of the team assessed and monitored him, and treated him with a medication/antibiotic regime. They kept all related billing to an absolute minimum, because they felt bad that my pug's negative reaction had occurred. They basically only billed me for medications, and did not charge me for staff or labor-related costs. Also, while I took my pug home and gave him meds for several weeks to treat the situation, June at Redding Vet reported the incident to the pharmaceutical company that makes the vaccination. They also asked for and received compensation for costs associated with my pug's recovery. And then, they passed the compensation onto me, in the form of a check for several hundred dollars. I consider this to be an example of care that really goes above and beyond what could be reasonably expected. I truly appreciate them going out of their way to compensate me for this unfortunate incident. And they managed to re-instate my faith in big, faceless pharmaceutical companies, which is an amazing feat, actually. I wholeheartedly recommend Redding Vet. For thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, fair and honest care that goes above and beyond, this is where you want to be.

I have been a taking my dogs to Dr. Phil Bolton at Redding Vet. Hospital for six years. ALWAYS professional. Dr. Bolton saved the life of my shepard mix with a ovarian surgery that was very difficult to perform. He gave her five years of life she (and my family would not have had). My rott mix has also benefitted from Dr. Boltons caring, commited expertise. I would take my dogs to Phil Bolton and his staff without reservation. Knowledgeable, caring, Shannon, Neda, and the whole staff are always courteous, positive and professional. Dr. Bolton has cared for two of my dogs professionally and compassionately. He is by far the best doctor I have ever met for my dogs. And I have met many good Vets. Dr. Bolton is exceptional.
