First experience with this company, Middletown DE location, was a good one. After being screwed over by Lube Depot in Smyrna, I took my car to them for an AC check because I knew something was wrong. It wasn't keeping cool, if it got cool at all. After being told by Lube Depot that I didn't know what I was talking about and everything was fine - it's just the hot weather, Mr. Tire had it fixed in a couple hours. When Lube Depot repaired my AC compressor a few months ago they put way too much freon in and it was messing up my AC measurements causing it not to work properly. They did their thing and it's been working fine since. Shout out to the two gentleman who fixed my car - Michael J. and Chris A. They are awesome!

I was a little disappointed when I saw grease fingerprints on the outside of my door plus also inside of the door. But in 40 minutes my oil and tires were done. EC

Had my vehicle into Mr Tire, Middletown for left rear tire repair and tire rotation. At completion of the work, the repair was completed, but rotation was not completed, as indicated by the left rear having a patch/plug, and the front tires still having brake dust on them further indicating no rotation was completed. But, this office still charged me for the rotation! When confronted, I requested a refund for the rotation from Hal (Asst Mngr) and he said he could not give refunds, I had to see the manager, Chris, the next day. I went in the next day and the manager was still not around, although Hal was there, he was very rude and unhelpful. He said he did not know when the manager would be back but I would have to try and catch him later. I am confident this shop is overcharging on rotations, and lining their pockets with extra cash, because it is difficult to know if rotations are completed, and one must trust the shop that they completed the work. Be cautious of this shop and most likely all MR Tire locations. They are excellent at giving customers the "run around".

Chris at the store in Middletown, De was extremely helpful when I brought my car in for an oil change and brakes. I dropped it off the night before without an appointment and he got me in no problem. My car was all finished in one day. When I cam to pay, the price was what was quoted and I was in and out with no issues! All products I buy should be as smooth! Thank you!

My daughter bought4 brand new tires for her car in January of this year , Mr. tires put them on for her. February 16 she was driving down Jackson Street in Wilmington Delaware and got a nail in her tire. They told her because the mail was too close to the rim that they could not plugged it. Which I understand. She asked him to get the tire back to us so I could have proof to try to get a refund from the department of transportation. They told my daughter that it was hazardous material and that they were not allowed to give the tire back to her. I'm not sure if rubber is considered hazardous or not but I will thought requesting you could have your tire back since we paid for it. Now She has no proof at all to show to department of transportation!!! I'm out that 200+ $.. I'm not sure if they were just telling us this so they can resell that tire to make a few dollars off of it??

So disgusted. I had an oil change scheduled for yesterday. Drop my Jeep off in the morning. I called at 2pm and was told mine was next in line. I asked if would be done by 4:30 when I leave work had somewhere to be was informed yes. I arrived at 4:30 my Jeep had not moved. They again said I was next in line and I said too late. Another lady was upset since her car wasn't ready and she was late to pick up her kids. Why make appointments if they aren't even followed. Absolutely horrible experience and will make sure everyone I know in this area knows.

Worst tire place ever!! WAY overpriced for tires and service! I have refused to use this business for several years because I had an appointment to get a tire fixed but I sat there for 4 hours after my appointment time and they still hadn't started it. My husband came over and we switched places so I could pick up the kids(yes, I was there that long!!). Fast forward to today. We needed a new tire to replace one that my daughter damaged when she hit a curb. No one had the exact tire in stock. So we ordered it from Amazon. Amazon has a relationship with Mr. Tire and Amazon set up the installation there. The tire arrived at Mr. Tire on Thursday. We had an appointment today (Sunday) at noon and have 2 emails plus a text verifying the appointment. My husband gets there and the Mr. Tire employee tells my husband we aren't on the schedule! Then explains that when people order from Amazon, they do a 3 way call to set up the appointment. So they had this tire in their shop for days but they never contacted us. They know how there process works but how would we know that! We had emails from Amazon stating we had an appointment so there was no reason for us to contact them!! I'm upset with Amazon too. But Mr. Tire just sucks all the way around!! My husband is taking the tire to Zee's Tires to get it installed. They fit us in within half an hour and only charged $30.

***DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY!*** Brought my car here for a simple wheel alignment and A/C refill. They ended up blowing my compressor up by overfilling it. They knew they had damaged my A/C compressor but instead chose to lie to me and tell me that the A/C system checked out fine. This was after I witnessed the manager John (guy with the funky looking beard that’s usually at the desk) talking to a concerned mechanic that was working on my car. Not thinking much about the situation I shrugged it off until I got my car back. I ended up driving home and parking my car in my garage and getting exposed to R-134a poisoning that seeped out into my garage and home from extreme compressor failure (blown out compressor seals from high pressure). I smelled an odd odor (which was from their tracer dye hitting hot engine parts and burning off) in my house and followed it to the garage where once I opened the door I heard the Freon gas leaking under the hood. It was extremely loud and my car had been sitting there for about 15 minutes at this point. I immediately opened my garage door and moved the car outside. When I opened the car hood I was livid because there was sticky green stuff sprayed all over my engine bay and Freon spewing out still from the A/C compressor that they blew up. (Yes it was leaking the entire trip home but the engines sounds covered it up). I immediately called the shop to complain about the issue. It had been only 30 minutes after I left and my car was like this. I got a female Mr.Tire rep on the phone that already somehow knew about my car having a severe refrigerant leak before I even gave here my name or car model or even mentioned the leak at all. She just knew already. It felt like she was expecting my call. I mean how shady is the place? The rep told me to call back the following day when John their manager would be back in. In the mean time I had taken pictures of my car and the mess. When I called the following morning I got John on the phone and he tried to sell me a story about how they use Freon and tracer dye to diagnose leaks as part of their diagnostic test which made absolutely no sense to me since an A/C vacuum test is the industry standard for diagnosing an A/C’s condition BEFORE putting in any Freon. When I confronted him about that John got extremely belligerent, defensive and argumentative with me as though that would make me disappear off the phone. I told him that they must get a lot of customer complaints to respond like that and that I was not happy about wasting $124 for them to destroy my compressor or expose me and my family to dangerous gasses from the leak they knew about. He didn’t try to offer a resolution or solution to the problem they caused. I ended up having to purchase a brand new A/C compressor and getting the system refill done properly at another shop. The mechanic at the other shop said that the old compressor was mechanically fine but the internal seals were blown out from the system being over filled. Once I learned that it all pretty much made sense. These people at this shop will mess your car up and then lie to you to cover their behinds. No doubt I will be taking them to court over this. * I also forgot to mention that they deliberately have also held my service receipt so I have no copy of the work they performed even though I have called and asked them to mail it to me several times now. How shadier can you get?

Great friendly helpful customer service. They do good work at low reasonable prices!!! I'd definitely recommend this shop for any tire needs !!!
