Probably one of the best locations I’ve honestly visited . Staff was welcoming , polite and cheerful. Nice to talk to , no wait. I was seen right away without an appointment, the whole experience was a great way to start my morning. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely horrible experience. They called me to tell me the location I had the appointment at was closed and I could go to People’s Plaza and they would honor my appointment. Checked in. Sat for 45 minutes. Got up and left. Never again at Labcorp. There are much better labs out there.

LabCorp does a great job in analyzing tests and reporting to doctors. This is a great service to the public in staying healthy. There is online appointment which reduces the wait at check-ins. Patients need to have photo ID and insurance cards on hand for check-in. Otherwise when busy, the wait time can be up to 10 minutes. The nurse is gentle and encouraging! The needles used to withdraw blood samples are very fine and unlike those of the Blood Bank of Delaware. I always go to the Main Street, Newark location, although there are others nearby. I hope this helps!

I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated at my last visit to LabCorp. I have done all my blood work at this location for my last 2 pregnancies and most recently brought my son to have some blood work done. It was already a stressful day as I don’t handle needles well, am 9 months pregnant and had some anxiety knowing my young son was going to be stuck with a needle for the first time. The ladies at the front convinced me it would be best if I let my husband handle it and wait outside the room to not upset my son or have my worry or anxiety rub off on him. The technician was very judgy and made many rude comments to me about stepping out. It was a nightmare of an experience. I ended up staying in the room, but it was none of her business whether I stayed or not. I did not appreciate any of her comments telling me I was abandoning or deserting my son when he was in his fathers arms. I wish I knew her name- she was an older African American lady who clearly should not be doing this job if she doesn’t know how to interact with patients. I would suggest getting her some training on how to be professional and have some compassion for a stressed pregnant mother. She crossed so many lines. I will not elaborate on all the awful things she said to me, but I did not appreciate being mom shamed and therefore will never return to this location.

I did not have to wait to be seen (I had scheduled an appointment online). Service was great from the front desk to the lady who drew my blood. I was in and out in less than 20 min. Highly recommend this location.

Absolutely dirty! Walls have crud on them...dirty office furniture. 2 people taking blood and 1 at the desk. Horrid situation and people packed inside the waiting room standing room only no social distancing! 2 chairs in a small hallway where they send you to wait after your paperwork is complete. There were several people standing back to back and not social distancing! Never again will we ever go there!

I dont mind having to wait when I get need blood drawn, but I do not want highly untrained low paid individuals going on a fishing expedition to hit a vein. I went for a simple draw and was stuck 5 times! Usually a lab can get blood out the first time. I've had labs stick me twice to find blood. But NEVER 5 times. Completely unacceptable. Wont be back.

Wasn't very busy, got in and out right away. The staff was very energetic and nice. The lady who took my blood was very social and our conversation took my mind off the needle that I didn't even realize she was done so quickly. This was my first time getting blood work done and it was a lot more pleasant than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend.
