I will start off by saying I am a loyal customer of madewell . Literally 80 percent of my clothes comes from this store. I had an issue with the quality of an item and an issue of exchange for a sweater because it was too large within the 30 day exchange period after spending over 1400 in just one bill. The manager who dealt with me was so rude and unhelpful. Basically told me the store will not do anything about the matter and on top of that she really wasn’t nice about it. I am not one to cause a scene so I let the issue go but Sadly I will not be shopping at madewell anymore.... I rather spend my money somewhere I am appreciated. My advise to the company is to ensure their sales persons are at the very least polite to the customers! I will be making a formal complaint with the company against this store as often times the sales girls are busy chatting amongst themselves and otherwise being very snobby with the customers. Just to add . Madewell customer service has apologized and asked for me to send in the items by post for a full refund as this behavior is not normal however I am still moving forward with the complaint on this particular shop/manager.
