I must say that this pharmacy leaves me frustrated more times than not. Nonetheless, I must give the pharmacist credit for going out of her way to resolve an issue my MD's office created. Perhaps another chance is warranted. Stay tuned ..

The only pharmacy in Jax that does not care if there is a line around the block waiting. They do not have this process down and it is like this with more frequency than not. If this were my store (with a 2 star rating) I’d be addressing it, but they don’t seem to care since it’s not changed in about a year. Picking or dropping off a prescriptions should not customers take 45 mins of waiting in a line of cars and this isn’t the case at other pharmacies in town! Please fix your business so we don’t have to drive further to get what we need.

I went there to get some medication and was the only person in the store besides about seven employees. I got my medicine and went to the front counter. Once I got close the lady behind the register went to an aisle near the register and started looking at product on the shelf. So I waited thinking she was just checking on something but nope. She saw me walking to the register then left anyway. So after about one minute and me clearing my throat a few times while she straight up ignored me, I just left my stuff on the counter and walked out. Customer service is dead and this place proves it everytime I go there. From now on I will just drive the extra little distance and go to Publix instead.

I went into Walgreens to pick up some Walton D brand allergy medication.. And since the pharmacist was on a break they wanted me to wait 45 minutes. Because hes the only one that can dispense the medication. It's over the counter it's not a prescription and you ask me for my ID anyway . I think that's poor customer service and they should have other technicians that should able to provide a service. It's called they're job.

Pharmacy staff probably extremely short staffed due to long wait times for prescription refills and phone lines. Although staff is friendly, they are too slow and sometimes do not follow through on tasks (like saving your insurance information or updating your address).

The staff is always friendly, the selection is great. The pharmacy is great and easy. I have no problems at all with this Walgreens, and I don’t really understand the negative reviews!

I am beyond disappointed in this pharmacy. I have been in three times in the last 4 1/2 hours to try and get my daughter’s prescription. I initially took her prescription to Publix who immediately reached out and explained that they did not take our insurance. So I called this Walgreens pharmacy and asked if they did and they said yes. Then they kept delaying and telling me that the prescription transfer sometimes takes a while to come over. I told them that I would walk over to Publix which is right behind them and try to hurry things along if that would help because my daughter actually works there and I’ve been shopping there for 20 years and know pretty much everyone there. So they blamed it on the system when in fact it was because they just had not picked up the phone and called to have it transferred over because when I walked into Publix to playfully harass them they said they just got off the phone with them. So within two minutes of my walking out they made the call. Then they called me back to tell me they also don’t accept our insurance. I called and asked them from the start. Unbelievable! So now I am racing around at 8:30 at night trying to get my daughter’s prescription filled because she has a terrible infection and needs medicine immediately. Will never use Walgreens pharmacy again! And I have a friend who’s a pharmacist and I completely understand that they get very very busy but they told me twice to come back in 15 to 20 minutes over that four and a half hour span. Just so disappointed.

I dropped my prescription off right after my dentist appointment. The goal was to have my pain meds filled before the novocaine wore off. I was assured by the “pharmacist” that it would be by 12:30. I arrived to pick up my meds. They were not even in the system. I was automatically given the generic response that they were waiting on my doctor. I then informed the little girl that I had dropped the scripts off personally, and was promised a pick-up time. The experience would not have upset me as much, if it had not been for the lie. Be honest with your patients when you mess up. Own up to your mistakes, however many they may be. Send believe me, they are many. I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. Walgreens, you and your staff miss the mark too often.

Careless staff. Especially the young male technician working the morning of (8/15/19). My mother is a Mayo patient who just underwent brain surgery and the complete lack of care/help was unnerving. Try another pharmacy. Especially if you’re a Mayo patient; which I’d imagine would be the majority of their clientele. Wish I’d not gone there first.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!! Literally the worst pharmacy in the area. No clue why I went back today after the most recent experience here a couple weeks ago. On two different occasions they gave snide replies of “we just got the script, it’s going to be a while” when in fact, I know that to be a lie. The first time really chapped my butt because it was for my wife who was released from the hospital after being there for 3 days - doctor at the hospital called the prescription early in the morning and she was released in the evening. When I went to pick up the meds, I was given that BS response quoted above. I questioned it and explained that it should’ve been there since this morning, without looking at anything, the little rude tech said they were really busy and I’ll just have to wait my turn.... mind you I didn’t see more than 3 other people in line and/or in the drive though for the hour and a half I waited there for them to fill the order 2nd time, 3 weeks later- this one was for me and a simple antibiotic and ibuprofen order (for bad double ear infection). While still at the doctors office, I heard the nurse confirm with doctor that the script had been called in - this was around 11:40am. After I finished up with the appointment, ~12:15pm, I took the doctors advice and forced myself to eat some food, as I hadn’t eaten anything since my ears started hurting bad the day before. Figured this would give them plenty of time to fill along with the fact that I needed to take these antibiotics with food. So it’s now around 12:45pm and I head to this joke of a pharmacy and I get the same response, again....that they JUST received the script and won’t be ready until “at least 1:45pm” - I laughed and didn’t even bother with a rebuttal.... still waiting on my meds Will not fool me a third time - I am never going to this location again and you shouldn’t either!
