This is the closest one to my houseAndAfter my truckWas wrecked we had To walk everywhere we went. After getting the milk and 2 to 3 other items we NEEDED we went to pay and the employees that were there were RUDE NASTY AND DEROGATORY TWARDS ME AND MY HUSBAND. If I can help it I will never shop at a dollar general again

For months now, crates everywhere and empty shelves. 2 registers but they only use 1, regardless of how long the line is. Steadily going down hill. Will go across street to Family Dollar. At least they are stocked, clean, and no long lines.

This is the WORST location in town. Last year, while waiting for a cashier, a young man came out of the office and said "I guess I will help you" He was on a personal cell phone call and never hung up. There were signs that read "CUSTOMER , PUT YOUR ITEMS BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM! Another sign read,"If you don't have exact change, we will round your purchase up". I commented to the young man that they appeared to becoming a self service store, at which point, the young man loudly proclaimed, "Lady, YOU are what's wrong with the world today!". I will drive 50 miles out of my way before spending one dime at this location. This Friday, the entire store was closed, yet another sign on the door "We are closed today, sorry for the inconvenience".

I had used this location almost every week for the past 14 years but will NOT set foot inside their doors again until something is done about the extremely RUDE and totally UNPROFESSIONAL new employees and the complete disarray and poorly stocked condition the store has been in since corporate powers-that-be decided to decimate the staff that had made this store what it was for all those years and replace them with THE WORST people possible. I don't shop at places where employees are permitted to badmouth and insult customers in front of other customers.

Staff were not wearing masks behind plexiglass and were not enforcing mask requirement, but 90% of shoppers wore masks (thanks a lot, you who refuse). Store is well stocked with wine, beer, groceries, cosmetics, household items, clothing and more. A much better stop than the Family Dollar store further East on W. Michigan Ave.

I had the worst experience last night. I went there for milk. Which they didn't even have. All the shelves were almost empty. I got a couple of things out of the clearance bin because they said they said they were half of. There was multiple with the same clearance price on them. When I got to the register and the gentleman started to ring them up and they came up full price. So he had to call the manager to help. She was rude from the beginning and than told me that "somebody put the wrong sticker on it" and was so rude about it like it's my fault. I let her know that all of them had that price on them. And she still was rude and proceeded to get a attitude and said that it isn't the right price. So your telling me that All of the ones are priced wrong? So I told her that I didn't even want it than. She didn't even apologize and just went back outide and got into a car with some dude. Very unprofessional. The more I thought about it the more mad I got so I called back to her her name and nobody answered. After the 5th time calling she answered the phone and denied being rude and REFUSED to tell me her name AND HUNG UP ON ME and wouldn't answer when I called back multiple times. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Any other store would say sorry at least and sell it at the price that it's marked and fix it after the fact. What a unprofessional manager. I will never go back there ever again. Nor will my family or friends. If I could do negative stars I would. Don't waste your time at this store. I will go way out of my way before I ever go here again!!!

Generally stocked but rarely Staffed and that leads to a long wait. And be prepared to police the line of customers yourself, the staff will not refuse to ring up someone who just steps in front of you regardless of his much you protest. I have had this issue at this location in 3 of the last 4 visits.

Now the store itself is always clean and the workers are usually nice. My only real complaint is that the lines are too long and that when my one soon to be two year old dropped his face mask in there about a week to a week and a half ago I believe the worker picked it up and put it in her pocket. Wow! That's right in nasty COVID-19 pandemia a disgusting person actually stole a baby's face mask to wear as their own and just so she knows we had just finish visiting a relative that has it, so good luck baby girl and enjoy quarantine.

What a wonderful staff this DG has! This is a very clean and well maintained store. For myself I feel so much more comfortable shopping in a store that is being taken care of properly. The selection of food items here make a quick shopping trip way easier. If you forget to get something when you do your big grocery shopping trip, the chance of being able to run to this store and get it are pretty good.

The shorter gentleman always has a polite attitude. Tall man with the elf hat is always super friendly and helpful. It takes a lot to keep a positive attitude when there are so many rude customers. Kudos to them!
