Overpriced, minimal care, avoids needed testing to create cost to incur additional cost. Unnecessary comments from front desk staff and do not update appointments/ poor record keeping. To cancel the wellness plan we were told there would be cost to cover each “discounted” visit that the wellness plans covers so we would owe them. Only vet I spoke to once over the phone through the 3 visits we had was nice but still doesn’t do the place any justice for us to continue service.

My dog has had worm issues going on for over a month now. The first time I took him in with issues they charged me $400 and told me they didn’t know what was wrong but still put him on antibiotics. Ten days later I'm back in there with the same issues. $300 more later they tell me he has worms. Three weeks later my dog is STILL having the same issues. I called today, Jen was extremely rude on the phone. Told me there was nothing she could do for me and that it is my fault because I missed an appointment for more treatment. Meanwhile no one ever told me that he had an appointment for more treatment, no one confirmed this appointment for me, nor did I ever make an appointment for him. My pet will not be returning to a place that clearly doesn’t know how to take care of him. I truthfully just feel bad for my puppy.

Love the staff here! Flavia was extremely helpful with and dealing with an issue with Carecredit. Having been there for over an hour on the phone (with my dog fresh out of surgery and a crying baby) with customer service she was beyond patient. The rest of the staff who were there were very patient and helpful too. The surgery went well and I was pleased with the communication! Again I want to thank the staff for everything and all the help.

Worst service for Health certificate to travel with a pet. They know nothing about the service, gives wrong information and are not helpful at all. Regret to paid more than $200 for this horrible service. Missed my flight because of them. They could do a express shipment, But I guess they have no idea that was possible. They said to call University of Florida instead of USDA, go get right information.

Won’t give the flea medicine my cat has always taken (always purchased through banfield too) without seeing him because it’s been longer than six months. Explained that I no longer live anywhere near a location, and my cat gets severely anxious in the car and could not withstand an hour car ride to their office for an appointment. I have not found a new vet in my area, and needed flea medicine in the meantime. Would rather let pets suffer to make an extra dollar, won’t be coming back. Pet health is clearly the last priority, especially with something that is noted in his file that he’s used for years.

Not at all impressed. Made an initial appointment online 3 weeks ago. Called to confirm 2 weeks ago and was advised to change the time due to their covid procedures. Yesterday got a call asking me to come earlier and in my “lack of sleep thanks to new puppy brain”, I agreed forgetting that my son needs me to pick up from school at the earlier time slot. Called first thing this am to ask to come at the time to have had scheduled, only to be told that’s not possible because dr is leaving early. I get things happen. But that appointment was on the books for 2 weeks. You don’t have someone else to come in and cover if dr needs personal time? I advised I had taken the day off work to get this taken care of and the “best suggestion” they had was to call Oviedo for an appt. I already hadn’t chosen Oviedo due to its poor reviews. So, we have made an appt at a highly reviewed and personally recommended vet. I should have taken the other less stellar reviews more seriously from the beginning I guess.

The staff and doctors here are amazing. They treat my dog like she's their own. They really take their time to make my dog feel special. Not that she needs it, she thinks everyone she comes in contact with is only there to play with her, and the staff there just proves it. They are great! Going here is a very good experience for my dog and I. I would definitely recommend this Winter Springs location to any pet owner. Banfield has multiple locations, so if I am in need to get my pet seen quickly and the WS location does not have any availability, she can go to another location, all medical records are shared between locations, which is wonderful.

What a different experience than Waterford lakes! The vet saw us in a decent amount of time, was super nice, helpful and personable. They were super busy as well but still worked us in due to the the condition our dog was in, which Waterford lakes banfield didn't even ask what our dogs condition was. The vet tech Drew was funny, knowledgeable, and just an all around great guy. Dr Cosgriff was AMAZING and super helpful and very sweet. Oh and the front office staff weren't rude! They smiled, said hello, weren't being over worked. They were so nice, still can believe the difference. We will happily drive the extra fee miles to avoid that hot mess of Waterford lakes banfield.

I honestly had no idea how truly amazing this office is until I moved to Jacksonville. Always very welcoming (you can see how they were welcoming my 'Clyde' on the attached picture - very cute). I can't bring myself to bring either of my two cats (Clyde and Clover) or my boyfriend's dog (Zeus) to any of the Banfield clinics inside a Petsmart. Despite the reviews showing they are around 2.5/5.0 stars, the other "energetic" or "loud" dogs just makes my animals all so much more stressed, but I never once had anything but an awesome experience here. The girls were great with my Clyde - always made me feel like I was leaving him in good hands. I miss this office so much. If a 2.5 hour car ride wasn't too stressful, I'd drive my cats down here from Jacksonville.
