Loved the atmosphere. The views are absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. Please be sure to make a reservation though, or you might not get a table. I thought the food was very mediocre. For the appetizer, we got the fried quail which was too crispy and dry. For the main course, we got the pork chops and spaghetti with scrimp and scallops. Both were not well seasoned and definitely not something we'd order again. The bread was cold. After spending $311 on a meal for 2, we left feeling unsatisfied and ready to hit another restaurant for food.

We celebrate our Anniversary here and the views are spectacular. Our server was excellent and the entire staff was great. However, the food left something to be desired. For the bill, and we spend around $400 with an appetizer and drinks, we've had better. The menu was limited but nothing not worth. The food was delicious but over priced. We've held more exiting food at lower tier restaurants. I wish they would revamp their menu periodically or have some creative options. But the view, did make it a memorable experience. Also, it no longer spins as of 5 years ago.

I made reservations same day and thought that was interesting that such a nice place and so many open tables! Well turns out I made reservations for the wrong day. They were so accommodating and were able to make new reservations for 45 minutes from then. Which they didn't have to do. It was really sweet. Then we get to the restaurant and everyone was exceptional from the hosts to our amazing waitress. We had a lovely meal and there just isn't a bad seat in the house! Our view was perfection, we caught a marvelous sunset and watched as the city started to glow. Truly a must in Atlanta. The food was on point, we had their Oysters to start then ordered the Filet Mignon and the fish of the day was a Branzino, I ordered it gluten free and they were so kind and added more vegetables. It was spectacular. We finished it off with their flour less chocolate cake and my god were we full but it was our anniversary dinner so we decided the indulgence was okay plus if you are going to splurge, do it right. For the quality of ingredients and masterful preparation of each dish the price truly reasonable. This is my new (to me) favorite restaurant. And cannot recommend it enough.

We came to the Sundial by special request of our 16 year old celebrating her sweet sixteen! We greeted by an amazing hostess and seated by Ms. Ray who was delighted to help decorate seating for the birthday girl. The view was breath taking and worthy of what we could spend to dine out. The food was tasty and well prepared with generous portions; all Amazing! The reason I didn't give Sundial 5 stars is because the lack of service and care from our waiter Jeff. Jeff was polite however very clumsy and forgetful. Before the dinner began, Jeff knocked over our glass of water all over our table. He cleaned it up, and surely I thought the service should be better such an embarrassing blunder early on. Nope! It Progressively became worse, he rarely checked on our table and the restaurant wasn't excessively busy. The rudest moment of all, we were in the middle of toasting the birthday girl, and he interrupted. We had to inform him 2x that we were in the middle of a toast, please come back. He continued with what he was explaining which annoyed the entire table because it took away from the celebration. A part of being a server is "reading the room", if Jeff did that.... this night would have been splendid. Either way, great food & atmosphere! I will write management to help Jeff with his areas of opportunities to grow

A true five star experience. The service, the view, and the food really exceeded all expectations. This was an awesome dinning experience. After some bad dining experiences at very well reviewed restaurants in the area because of the labor shortages, my group didn't know what to expect here. From the moment I tried to make my reservation, I was impressed by the service and care all the staff took. The food itself was also amazing. To start, the Sweet and Tangy crispy shrimp and fried green tomatoes were really great. We had several Entrees that all tasted great. The bone in Ribeye and BBQ Pork Tomahawk stood out as the favorites. That Pork was perfectly cooked and had such a favored, crispy crust. Overall, this was the best dinning experience of our trip and I'll for sure coming back here when I'm in Atlanta.

I would say the only thing this restaurant has going for it is the view and nothing else. When we arrived at our reservation time we were told we could not come up yet. We had to wait to the side but then no one ever told us when we could come up until we asked again. Once we sat down our server was fairly nice but once we ordered it took over an hour for our food to come out. I'm not sure how any restaurant can justify taking that long to serve food. One of us ordered the NY strip steak medium but it came out very well done and we had to send it back to be recooked. When you are paying $80+ for a meal one would expect the chef to be able to cook a steak correctly. The manager came out and apologized to us and offered free dessert. It was a nice gesture but honestly I would've expected it to be comped just based on the upscale nature of the restaurant and fairly inexcusable mistake. The rest of our meals were fine but not worth the price tag by any means. I would recommend you come up for the view only and then take the elevator right back down.

I recently visited this restaurant with my husband. I wanted to find something special to celebrate his birthday. This was definitely a good pick! Making the reservation was very simple and even us running a little late through traffic they still held our reservation. The elevator ride up was awesome, your literally on top of the beautiful city. I’m kind of wishing I made my reservation later so we could experience the gorgeous sunset. The menu had some good selections. Not to mention the drinks! They were AMAZING. The staff was also so welcoming and friendly. It was definitely a good experience all to say the least. I would highly recommend if you are visiting Atlanta. This restaurant is a cool place to check out!

We really enjoyed the facility views and the dining experience as a whole. The visit was a celebration dinner for our 13 year old, as well as our first encounter with the Sundial restaurant. With this said, I have one recommendation for our server. Please stay engaging with your dinners throughout the dining experience. You were great initially, but faded away as the dining experience continued (I’m sure this was a result of having to serving other tables). Outside of this, you were awesome. Lastly, dinners make sure to bring a coat!! Sincerely, 10 minutes w/ the Coopers

Four stars out of five simply on the setup and views. The restaurant is currently closed during the day, and requires nightly reservations. At the beginning of the pandemic the Sundial Bar which sits at the very top of the restaurant on the 73rd floor, was permanently closed. They're hoping to open it at some point in the future but no definite plans as of yet. The views are 360° of Metro Atlanta with horizon views out to Stone mountain--All super chic and gorgeous. The room is elegant with mid-century modern styled hanging chandeliers and comfortable chairs situated in nooks all the way around. The restaurant is on the 72nd floor sitting beneath the bar which is cool because the floor cuts away in a pattern exposing the views and tables below. Pricing seems to be very reasonable for the restaurant with main dishes being less than $60.

After searching for a romantic place to take my wife on a date during this pandemic I was able to secure a reservation at the Sun Dial Restaurant. As this being our first time visiting we had the pleasure of having Mike as our server who was not only personable but also helpful in navigating the menu. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was excellent 👌🏼. The only drawback was the extreme draft that we encountered as we sat by the window to enjoy the beautiful view hence the 4 stars. It felt good to get out of the house without the kids to enjoy each other and the Sun Dial Restaurant was the perfect venue. We've decided that we'll be coming back to enjoy our wedding anniversary dinner in a couple of months.
