Passport services don't keep their appointments and after ditching you, they send you back online without any priorities. Costumer service not the greatest.

I went to drop a few letters in their mailbox before going in and the mail was literally crammed coming through the slot like the box was full and hadn’t been picked up in a year. Have NEVER seen anything like it. Instead of driving off like I should have I went in to drop off labeled online return packages. It’s been over a week and there’s no evidence of the packages having been dropped off much less shipped. I am a hundred percent sure this will end up a claim I’m going to have to make. Avoid this place. There are post offices in every town…

This post office is always delayed. Expect to have to wait long times even when it’s not the holidays . The clerks always seem upset and they are always short . Even if there is 2 clerks only one is available the other one can be seen walking around or doing something else than helping customers . Just come prepare to wait awhile

I understand it is a hard time of year for postal employees but I just had the worst experience. The kiosk gave me a receipt but no postage so I went to the counter for help. Besides me there were two people in line. I told the woman behind the counter that I got the receipt but not the postage. She proceeded to slam her hand and storm away. She did finally come out to the kiosk and fished around until she got the postage. She never said one word to me or acknowledged my presence at all— no excuse for this rude behavior.

Came in for information on processing passport. Staff was not very helpful or polite, they just told me to look online and make a passport appointments with a rude tone. I then went to the Lombard Facility and they were actually helpful there. Althogh they do not process passports at Lombard post office, they were helpful and give me a list of nearby post office facilities with their passport hours and whether appointments were required or suggested but not required.

There once was a time when going to this post office was a joy, NOT anymore. They now have the most rudest, angry and disrespectful employees that you could have. I'm now standing in line at another post office with 10 people ahead of me. I could have had my package delivered here but after the employee, Jay was completely rude to me I left this empty post office and ended up in a busier one with much nicer and more professional staff. It's sad that I live in Downers Grove but have to go out of DG to get quality postal service. I wish they had a zero rating because 1 is too much for them.

They have the rudest customer service reps I’ve ever met. I’ve watch them talk to people any kind of way. They are never kind or friendly. I honestly don’t know what their problem is. I saw them be extremely rude to an elderly gentleman today. It was heartbreaking. Another lady in line just left with her package in her hand.

Poor Customer Service at Downers Grove, IL US Postal Office!! I went to ask for information about a delivery and one of the "Customer Service" Agents on the front desk had a very bad attitude, not friendly, rude, very aggressive! the way she used to respond my question was disappointing. Obviously, she has not the right skills to work with customers. This is something that should not happened in our community. US Postal Service, please hire people with the right Customer Service skills, not aggressors!

Fantastic staff, especially Earl! Sometimes it's gets busy and they don't have the staff to keep up. It nice that they have a postage dispenser machine that you can use if the line is long. Also it is available after hours because it is in the area with the po boxes that stay open for much longer hours.
