I'm assuming it's the closest T-Mobile to Illinois and the customer service is better than anything in Illinois. That being said I have always had to wait for at least one customer ahead of me usually two or three. Never purchased anything just inquired about products and pricing. It's typical of most businesses these days, understaffed with high turnover.

What should have taken 60 minutes tops turned in to a 4 hour ordeal. Went in to upgrade a phone and had no wait time. The associate made the sale, received the commission credit and went home. Apparently there was an update that needed to be completed on the new phone and the other associates who agreed to watch the phone were busy working on their own commissions, would occasionally check the phone for progress and would move on. I checked in a few times and trusted they knew what they were doing. We hit the 2 hour mark and we decided to stretch our legs, 3 hour mark and an hour before close, the associates finally decided to do a factory reset and rerun the update and like magic, it worked. Then we had to back up the cloud so the items would transfer over and finally at 7:15pm (15 minutes after close) we left. Went home, finished the transfer only to discover the phone is not receiving or sending calls or texts. Discover there is no SIM card (which is cell phone 101) and had to return to the store Saturday morning. If there is a manger who cares about these reviews, I would recommend to not allow your associates to go home until their customer(s) are finished/out the door. Their colleagues do not care unless it is their sale. I discovered this while watching your associates log their sales for the day and was asked to purchase an item to help someone meet a $1,000 day. I probably would not have complained if I did not have to return Saturday morning. Check the security cameras which will most definitely verify the time we wasted in your store.

Noe at the Tmobile in Dyer IN was outstanding. He was patient and knowledgeable about everything that I needed done. He explained in detail about my switching to Tmobile and I appreciated that. If I could give him more that 5 stars I would. Being a business woman myself I understand the importance of great customer service. He is an asset for Tmobile. The worst ever. Inexperienced employees and horrible customer service. Also, be on scam alert for this store. If you call asking them if they have a certain phone available they will refuse to tell you and ask you to come to the store. Once you arrive the line is at minimum one hour then when you ask them for the phone, more specifically the iPhone pro max they will tell you it’s available but only through bundle. This means that you have to buy unnecessary accessories for 100 on top of the phone if you wanted it. The problem is I was desperate as I promised my child one that day and couldn’t do online purchase but I am certainly going to be very loud on this scam with their corporate people as a start. Also, the lady with the Amanda tattoo was very very rude, I am not sure if it’s because there was no manager in that store but certainly could use customer service training. Tmobile is already notified of the horrible environment in this store and I hope they act fast!
