If I could give no stars on this rating I would. We had a horrible experience. We came in for a new phone. Was told they only had IPhone 13 which later during visit found out they had IPhone 12 which we would rather had. The salesman also told us he could update our service to a better plan including everything we currently have on our plan and it would be $5 cheaper. We said that would be ok only to find out the next day that our home wireless service went from an unlimited plan to a limited with additional charges. I called the main number and they would NOT change our plan back so we had to cancel our home wireless plan because we couldn’t afford the limited plan. ATT is not a good company. They treat customers awfully and don’t care.

I came in needing a few things accomplished. The store staff was very patient as we work through everything that I need to take care of which included switching to FirstNet and upgrading my phone. I appreciate their time and patience. I could tell they were knowledgeable on every task they needed to complete. If there something they did not know they did not hesitate to call another coworker. Good teamwork.

What a mess. Whatever you do, don’t go to this AT&T store. It’s now owned by a third party and it was very clear that the salesman that assisted us had no interest in doing even a marginal job. He told us it would take 24 hours for my daughter to transfer her data from one phone to the other, so she should go home and do it. This seemed wrong because that has never happened before, but we accepted it. She left and found out when she was lost, that her old phone had been turned off so she had no GPS. He completely messed up our bill leaving us with what would have been a monthly bill almost twice what it has been. Even the manager seemed to have no interest in assisting anyone. He didn’t know and was unwilling to figure out if a new case was a model that would fit the new phone. There are more examples, but they all come down to - go anywhere other than this store. After a trip to a different company owned store, our bill is now $15 less than it has been with the same service.

Christopher was amazing. Not only is he a funny, customer-centric employee but he is dang good what he does. He made the process so easy and simple as well as outlined the cost of absolutely everything so there was no confusion. We originally came in just to add a line to my existing account but ended up walking out with a new phone and two Apple Watches! Christopher made it happen by telling us about employer discounts, trade-in discounts, and more and we got an amazing deal! Thank you to him and we will be back soon!

Preston was fantastic! Very helpful and knowledgeable - he was able to answer my questions and resolve my issue when I was unable to over the phone with customer support. My only complaint would be that there were several customers waiting and there should have been someone else available to help on the floor. Overall, one of the best in-store experiences I've had!!!

Had my best experience ever in getting an iPhone with Christopher Sherwin as my sales person at AT&T Merchants Square Carmel. Was very kind and showed me ways to save money. Was very impressed with his knowledge and how I was treated. More sales people need to be like this guy. Again, best treatment ever from a sales person. Thank you Chris!

We just had the best experience transferring from my old provider to AT&T. (The parents finally kicked me off of their plan). James, you were fabulous! We so appreciate you taking the time to explain the little details and make this transfer such a smooth process! Woohoo, I’m part of the AT&T family now!

Would not recommend this location. I did some upgrades before Christmas for the family. I went here because the other store was busy but should have waited. After doing the upgrades I was told that I cannot Trade in my phones for the promotion because this is not a corporate location. At first I was disappointed because I had to make a special trip after the holiday but thank goodness I did . I went to the greyhound pass location and The gentleman was very helpful. I found out that I was not educated properly that I had to change my plan to an unlimited plan to get the discount and was not told about upgrade fees. So not only is my next bill going to be way higher without knowing, but I had to change my plan to something $30 more just to get phone discounts I was told I would be. Definitely going to the other store from now on.
