I want to leave 0 stars. PNC bank is the reason we still don’t have our tax return. They were supposed to close my husbands account in August of 2020. They didnt. Because they didn’t, my husbands stimulus money got deposited there which we were not aware of. Because we were not aware, we claimed stimulus money on the tax return which sent it to manual processing. We found out later that PNC never closed the account and had the money. We were not able to file an amended tax return . So we just have to wait. It’s been 13 weeks with no answers. Had we not claimed the stimulus that was sitting in an account that was requested to be closed, we wouldn’t be in this waiting situation. All they had to do was close the account when requested in August 2020. Very frustrating and I will never refer them to anyone. I feel like they should loan us the refund amount at no interest and get it back whenever we actually get our refund.

I'm new to the area but needed to set up an account pretty quick. These people were professionals. Polite. Efficient. This was after calling a few other banks that were less than up to the mark. Edit- over the years I have referredamy people to go see Rachel. She's awesome, actually cares about her customers.

Inconsistent in customer service and lack of standardization on requirements for cashing or withdrawing when going through the drive thru. Rather make the drive to another branch where it isn't a toss up on what approach they will be using.

The employees in this branch are awesome! I would not ask for a better group of people.

For opening new checking accounts, please do not go here. I am a 40 year old professional new to the area starting a job (from out-of-state). The representative was brusque and also the explanations of the checking account plans were unusual...for instance, a minimum of 500 dollars was required and if not then you would be hit with almost an 8 dollar fee per month. Also, they had this VirtualAccount system?? I went to Woodforest National Bank and was 100% satisfied.

Very friendly people, my employer uses this branch for their commercial banking and I set up a new account for direct deposit, unfortunately my hours exceeded theirs so the account manager came to my workplace and helped me set up my new account, thank you Rachel!

When PNC makes a mistake, they like to play the blame game amongst themselves. I've always been taught that customer service is about the CUSTOMER, not about covering your own rear-end or passing blame. Guess I'll start shopping for a bank that is local, and community-focused and knows what customer service really means. PNC you might want to have some phone training with your employees as well. It's never polite to talk over and/or interrupt a customer when they are trying to explain the situation. How can you help if you don't know what happened because you aren't listening? I'll update this review if and when this situation is resolved. Update: the local branch left me a voice mail to apologize for their mistake. They have rectified the situation and as I said, I would update my review once it was resolved.
