I have been using Hertz rental for almost a decade now. Never have I gotten such a poorly maintained car. Smelly, unclean, car vibrates on highway, poor mileage, way beyond it's service due,toddler car seat belt doesn't retract properly. My toddler fell twice as the car seat kept moving.

The manager Melody at this location is absolutely ridiculous and the way this location is run is absurd. She told me two days in a row that she'd have an Uber rental available for me and when I showed up today she told me the the system wasn't doing Uber rentals anymore and yesterday she was having "issues with the system". She literally ignored the phone all day. I watched her ignore the phone while I was standing there in the office today. She ignored it for several other drivers as well. She should have called me the minute she knew so I didn't waste over an hour of my time. She has several names written down and told me I wasn't even on her list even though she had promised me earlier that morning that she'd be sure to have one for me. When I arrived I had taken an Uber which cost me $25 and then another $25 to go home because she didn't have a car for me. She didn't even care. She was trying to tell me Uber would give me money for going there which she definitely has no idea what she's talking about. She literally sat there and ignored me and tried to justify everything by telling me she was shutting down the Uber because it was too much work for her and that she was working 60 hours a week..... You should have told me that before making me waste time and money getting an Uber there! I work over 60 hrs a week too but I don't inconvenience people and cost them money because I feel like it! She also seemed like she might have been on drugs. I don't know who let's her run this place but this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Apparently they don't even have a district manager anymore from what she was telling me.... They really need to hire someone else and her their act together here. @hertz if you ever want to hire a tech consultant and have someone properly run this location you're welcome to reach out.

Terrible location! Gave me a damaged car that was not in the system as damaged. Counter person was imposed that I came in, at least it seamed.

Hertz has falsely reported cars stolen and led to perfectly normal people just like you being arrested and taken to jail. One individual was in jail for over 6 months until charges were dropped. Please look this up before you rent from them, it can happen to you.

To start things off, I am not an easy person for car rental employees to deal with because I can be picky. I recently rented a little Black Nissan Altima from them. Nolan was very kind, helpful, and even patient. I don’t encounter that very much at rental companies, that says a lot about him. He’s as good as Christa Crow in Brownsburg, and she’s hard to beat.

The employees at the Greenwood office were friendly and polite. My car was ready on time, and it was a gem. Someone from their corporate office was on site the day I picked up the car, but she was not there a week later when I dropped it off and experience was equally positive. No complaints!

Tried to pick up a prepaid rental car but they had not plowed their lot in three days and could not get any cars in or out of the lot. The manager on site was unable to offer a refund and after sitting on hold for two hours a customer service agent "issued a refund". Two weeks later, there is no refund and I cannot get a hold of an agent on the phone and the on-site manager cannot do anything to assist. I ended up doing a chargeback since they are being very fraudulent. I will never use Hertz again, they are garbage.

Rude and unprofessional! Made a reservation and wasn’t told until we arrived that they won’t take prepaid cards. Even though I had enough on the card to cover the rental and deposit hold. What’s the difference between a prepaid card and a credit card with a low limit???? When asking questions the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Avoid Hertz at all costs
