I have been going for the past 7 years usually they are on point. My regular Tax preparer had past away last year and I used a different person from the same office. They weren’t all that friendly and the did not turn in my 2021 state tax. I had found out this year in September. I called they said they would fix it and called me and said it was done. Just ridiculous and I was charged extra this year. I am so so so sad I lost my regular tax preparer she will be sadly missed something awful. I am choosing to do my own taxes this year lord know it will be much much cheaper! Double check them before you leave! I

I wasn’t very impressed with the filing fees considering I filed from receiving money from the pandemic based on my earnings and or salary from my personal business at the top of my 1099-g forms it states that I were most likely eligible to file for free., I done some research on the past years filing with H&R Block and one wasn’t over $300 to file the other was $100 cheaper than the most recent with Jackson Hewitt I think $470 something dollars is a little to much to file some taxes I’m finding out from others who filed the same on was free but that’s just my opinion., another thing is the ones I know who filed for free also received there refund back in a little over a week! Mine is estimated at 14-21 days, it’s very disappointing to get charged the amount above when I have an eight year old daughter and I could have gotten mine done for free, I was unaware of just how simple filing is with just a few steps in a handbook. As if Americans aren’t having a hard enough time still some of us are recovering from the pandemic. Have a blessed day and be safe and well thank you!

I received absolutely no help at all. All I was needing help with was identifying the proper number that the online database was asking for. I had put in the number that I thought it was from line 21 and it wasn’t working so I just wanted them to help me identify the proper line. Something that would’ve been so easy for them and took them 30 seconds to help it they were so rude and mean about. They told me they didn’t have time for me and that all they could do was give me my tax return and let me figure it out myself. So unless you’d like to be made to feel stupid, talked to with extreme rudeness, and receive zero help (even with the simplest things) I would not recommend you use their services. If this is how they treated me asking a simple question that can be answered in 30 seconds I can’t imagine how it would be having them file your taxes. I would recommend not going to this Jackson Hewitt for service there are other ones near by who will be kind and very helpful, sadly they were not open today. Also to be added front desk lady was extremely rude and mean. She went out of her way to tell me she didn’t like my perfume and give me dirty looks talk about customer service.

No digital w2 are accepted in which I know for a fact other box store tax places are doing it , was just super inconvenient this year to use them. Definitely will be filing elsewhere from this year on. Get with the times Jackson Hewitt I had a bad time in your office even though I was only in there 10 minutes. File taxes elsewhere will be doing them on my own from now on. Anywhere else is better than these guys

Fees are ridiculous and after being a customer for years paying the fees, i was denied for loan and ive never been denied nor have any reason to be. Not only that my estimated refund is just under 3k less than should be and thats before the taxes and fees! Cant ever get someone on the phone with customer service and if you do they wont give you a legitimate reason to why denied, why their card and account is just closed and folks money cant be deposited taking longer to receive, and penalize you for IRS taking 3 times as long as they tell you! The ladies are really nice and do their best to get you in and out, however the company whole for the last year has been horrible!

Wish I could give negative stars. I went to Jackson Hewitt on grant line in New Albany to finish up my taxes today and the worst experience in customer service I have ever had. My normal tax lady was busy so she set me up with a woman named Bev. Now I’m 24 and I have absolutely no concept of taxes and finances is not my thing. Usually my mother goes with me and we file together. She usually talks for me and they never question it. Well this time I had to bring my boyfriend who is 30 and works in financial services. My mom told him specific things to find out for me. When I first walk in a lady named Edna tells me I scare her and my hair and mask scares her. So that was kind of offish to begin with. Then when I’m set up with Bev she is very rude to my boyfriend. He tries to ask some questions and she whips around says excuse me but are you the tax payer, In the nastiest voice she could muster. Which it would have been fine if she would have just asked and made sure I had given him permission but it was really nasty and just like she was mad that he was asking questions. Maybe they thought because I’m young they could screw me. Then when I explained to Bev that I truly just don’t understand and that I give my boyfriend of 5 years permission to speak for me, she asks how old I am. Then she says if you payed attention you would understand. Again In a very nasty voice and attitude. Felt like she was basically calling me stupid. I completely in shock that she said that. No I wouldn’t understand. I don’t even have the basics down. Unless you want to give me a private crash course in taxes then I’m not going to get it. Then I asked to speak with a manger and my usual tax lady said she was the manager and all she did was defend bevs attitude. So I took my papers and business elsewhere. I pay you not the other way around. Just because you are good at something and can easily understand doesn’t mean the next person can. I don’t pay you to be disrespected and ridiculed. I’m surprised my baby didn’t wake up from how heated it got.

I always go to Jackson Hewitt. This location specifically. Christy is the BOMB. She has done my taxes for the past 7 years. I love walking in there and getting to talk with her for a min. She always has a smile on her face no matter how busy or stressed her day has been. She makes you feel at home and welcomed. I have never had any problems at all. Fast and very friendly
