Visited the pharmacy for covid boosters. With my daughter and her three teen age kids getting their second vaccines. A bit of paper work and some congestion in their space. All around good humor from the staff during the whole task. Professional, quick, thorough. Facilities were clean and other customers were taken care of without interrupting our attendants.

I worked here a few years ago. I honestly did not like it at all. I confided in my manager (Troy Bianchi) about my pregnancy and the next time I arrived to work, everyone was talking about my pregnancy. They all thought I was lying about my pregnancy... I always wanted more hours and I was never scheduled more. I called in one day due to not feeling well and having severe nausea. My manager (Troy Bianchi) expected me to find someone to cover my shift, I didn't find anyone. The next day I arrived to work and he told me to go home because he thought I was not going to show up. I do not recommend for anyone to work here. Although, things may have changed I still do not recommend anyone to work here.

Same old Hy Vee of the last decade. The helpful smile in every aisle is to busy shopping for others to be helpful to on-site customers or clogging up the aisle. Plus the baggers were trained so well. Now they just don't care.

Why Hy Vee food store on Euclid Avenue. Service is not what used to be. Prices are higher than other grocery stores and often over priced. Sale items repeatedly not as advertised with or without coupons. Recommend you always check your receipt before you leave the store, 9 out of 10 times, price charged is not what was posted on shelf or advertised. It's time they get back to the honest and customer minded top retailer that they were originally. The founders are rolling over in their graves knowing the predatory practices the present operators and CEO/Corporate Board condones. If you are looking for value go elsewhere... Once again shopping at HyVee on Euclid Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa is expensive! As if the cost of groceries was not high enough, the price of not checking what they charge you at the register, (which too often is not the advertised or shelf price) adds up quickly. I know better than to leave the place without checking my receipt first. Tonight it added up to be $6.69 that was wrongly charged to my card. Spent $128.68 on food and drinks. Had coupons for 3 items and only reduced price on 2 of those. The shelf price on 2 items were considerably cheaper than charged and 2 items were charged at regular shelf price even though they had a sales shelf tag for $1.00 less. To me that is not mistakes but a form of theft!

The breakfast at the café was well-served. But the pancakes were doughy with syrup that was either cheap or artificial sweetener. Sausage was flavourless and over-cooked. $14 with tip made it not a good experience.

Cuz they're chasing people are stealing and my mom no I don't like the tyvi I think I think they should go to somewhere else and get better employees and a better manager I think this thing is not posed to be used and the coke they did wrong by with my brother's birthday cake and did you do wrong with my mom's boyfriend birthday cake which hold on Facebook puppy instead of Aaron

I haven't shopped here is over 3 years only because of the location, however went there with my brother. They had everything we needed and Leila was the cashier and was friendly and Josiah was bagging the groceries for us, making sure they were bagged properly. When we got home none were crushed and the freezer items were all together. Love shopping with my brother.

Got a cake for a gender reveal. It was made well, but wrong. Didn't have any color on the inside! Did get our money back, but nothing to make up for ruining our gender reveal.

A great grocery store for your grocery shopping needs. This venerable location has been a fixture in this community for ages, and the remodel has been a delight. The prices are decent, the location is good, the service is friendly, and the store is quite clean. Whenever I'm in Des Moines, this is my grocery store.
