This HyVee pharmacy is the worst of all the HyVee pharmacy’s they miss fill dates all the time. They basically fill the prescriptions as they want to fill them. Never mind the face that scrips are needed on a daily basis. We had a good relationship with an old pharmacy manager. However they changed managers and their service has gone through the floor. We have had several people in our family including our children go without prescriptions. AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS. We are attempting to find a more customer focused pharmacy.

Horrible experience in a HyVee full of rude employees. I go in yesterday to re fill a prescription. I get a promise of filling it right away and a second one to call if they can't fill it. No phone call so I return to the Hy Vee at the appointed time and give them my name to pick it up. Oh sorry our computer is down. Why was not filled right away as promised. Uh I don't know. But come back later. I reply that I will be gone for several days and will not be able to to be in two places at once. We can deliver. Locked building and you would have to leave it outside I said sarcastically. We can't do that. Just come back in a few hours. Like I said I am leaving soon. Won't be home. Why didn't you call me back to say that you can't refill my prescription for my asthma inhaler ad yt agreed to do. Uh well we can deliver. And I told that I won't be there to take it. Explained I was wheezing and let me just have it and you can run it through my insurance later as there was no charge for the inhaler. Wanting to thank you for letting me cough and wheeze all night. I am done with this Hy Vee pharmacy and the Hy Vee too. Thanks for causing me to have an asthma attack. 😠

I have been going here for years to get my medications and some groceries. The prices are pretty high for the most part, but their pizza and sushi is bomb. Overall the place gives off boogie vibes. P.S. they have some delightful free samples in the early evening. 😆

Respectful, caring, sincere staff. When you call or just walk in they know who you are right away. Just goes to show that there are people who care in this world

I will give these individuals 5 stars all day. I always have the best service when I go here and it is amazing to have a “small town” feel where a pharmacist knows your name in a city like Des Moines. They always go the extra mile and my prescriptions and pharmacy needs are always done in a quick manner and with no problems. This should be where you get your pharmaceuticals filled.
