This location is clean and the people who work here are nice. I like going in to look around, even if I don’t find anything to buy.

Addendum: I’m glad to hear that a new manager is in charge and I look forward to going again soon. I wrote this review a while ago and had to post it again. Please take this review with a grain of salt. Since my previous review was replied to, for now I’ll bump up the stars to a three. :) Original review: Terrible place for several reasons. Management is absolutely awful at this location. Employees are forced to stay later than needed without any apology, their time is forcibly managed in a very inefficient way(thus, the store is often in disarray as other reviews said), they're exposed to hazards without protection, and so on. Peepholes in the changing rooms remain unfixed. It's nice to browse, I've gotten some nice stuff here...but between personal experiences and reviews revealing bad treatment of employees from the entire company, I do not think highly of this place. I have had very good experiences with the cashiers and other workers hired there, though. I don't blame them in any capacity.

I wish I could give less than one star. It is so sad to see how downhill this location has gone. Last year it would have been 5 stars! Fabulous selection of clothes, shoes and most importantly- books! Now? The entire store is always in disarray and just getting worse. There is no organization at all. Infant clothes stuck in with women's blouses, pajamas mixed in with dresses, blouses in with long pants. The sizes have always been a little off, smalls in with the mediums kind of thing, but lately it's more than just one or two, things are just thrown in where ever it pleases people. This location used to have fabulous employees, ones that remembered you when you came in. Now, all the employees that I encounter are rude, disgruntled and unfriendly. Today though, to top off the disappointment of the physical store, I had the most inappropriate interaction with one of these employees. I was in the dressing room, and hear a knock. I said "OCCUPIED", not once, not twice but THREE TIMES, and the employee STILL opened the door! It gets worse from there though, rather than shutting the door when she saw there was a half naked woman in the room, she stands there with her head in my door, telling me how I have too many items and, I quote, "The head honcho is on the way in 5 minutes". I explained that I was almost done, and I had already caught someone digging through my cart and taking my dresses while I was in the room with the proper amount of items, hence why I took all my items in with me. She just told me that I needed to hurry up and get this taken care of. I was so shocked that I just gathered up my items, paid and left. When I woke up this morning I did not prepare myself for the mental stamina that is needed to be half naked in public getting harassed by a stranger. Despite living in Derby, I think I will be taking my business out to the Andover location. They have a larger selection of clothing, and better service. **update (2 months since last review)** Decided to give them another go, it's summer time and I wanted some new dresses. This location would have a NEGATIVE star review if Google would allow. Today there were 3 employees on the floor. 1 on the register, 2 next to the register near the "clothing to be put away" racks, pretending to sort clothes but really just gossiping amongst themselves. The store was in complete disarray. Mother's letting their screaming kids run up and down the isles. Kids riding scooters through the store. Kids taking baseball bats and golf clubs off the shelves and hitting things with them, then leaving them on the floor all over the store along with all the other toys that they felt like throwing around. Not a single employee stepped in to handle any of this. I quickly made my way to the front to check out and get the heck out of there, only to be accosted by another shopper because "I stood to close to her pile of stuff", again, not a single employee stepped in to say something to the belligerent customer literally screaming obscenities at me and trying to shove me for standing in line at a register. I will be reporting this branch to their corporate chain of command and hopefully things turn around soon. This store is completely unsafe.

Huge selection and very helpful staff. I was surprised tonfind clothing with the original tags still on then! Brand new jackets and a new piece of luggage that has never been used as well. Great value and worth the trip!

I used to shop here regularly but things seem to be going downhill. I’ve had to wait several minutes when dropping off donations despite seeing many employees mulling around the area, I finally had to walk into the warehouse to flag someone down. Computer problems seem to be a frequent occurrence as well causing lines to extend halfway through the store. Asking to have a dressing room unlocked then waiting ten minutes to remind the employee that she needed to unlock the dressing room. What used to be a quick way to kill thirty minutes begins extending into an hour+ long trip where you leave behind your intended purchases after waiting in line fifteen minutes and still being three back from the cashier because you need to make an appointment.

No one on the floor to help you find anything specific you may want to fi d. Cashiers are semi friendly. There is wheelchair accessibility with free parking and parking for disabled people. Usually full if customers. Costs are not what would be expected for 2 and hand items.

Went here to shop one if the associates was so rude. She was angry because someone left clothes for her to hang up. She rudely told me to make sure I hang up my own clothes. Then she made several hateful comments about how many clothes I was trying on. She needs to be reminded that she works for the customer, and I am the customer. Oh and I have never in my life left clothing lying on the floor in ANY dressing room, my mom raised me better.

The racks are way too crowded. It is very difficult to look at the clothing without removing each item from the rack and then getting it back on the rack w/out the item falling off is a miracle. The clothes racks are very unorganized. One has to look thru every item on each rack to find one's size. I do appreciate the fact, they still provide dressing rooms. A lot of thrift stores have stopped providing dressing rooms. The associates are friendly and helpful.
