I sent an item and payed extra for it to be sent In two days, it’s been 5 days and my item hasn’t even been shipped out of Kansas. When I asked for a refund for the fee I payed for the fast shipping, the manger wouldn’t accept a refund for extra fees paid. Moreover, he wouldn’t check tracking and explain to me why the item hasn’t been shipped out of Kansas. If you are sending a shipment, don’t waste your money and time on this post office.

We've been dealing with misdelivered mail ever since we moved within range of this post office over a decade ago. My neighbors with the same house number but different street name get our mail all the time; and vice versa. Or my neighbor with the same street name but slightly different number (8 instead of 5). There's still a $400 check for me somewhere in the mail system sent almost a year ago. What really bugged me was this morning when I went by to drop off 2 packages that were already stamped for shipment and the drop off bin was completely locked (at 8:15am). I have a very busy week and just wanted to get these dropped off. Several other people were standing there confused along with me as to why they couldn't drop off their packages.

I went here for my first passport. I filled out everything online and printed out, wrote a check, and got all the documents they needed. Suzanna is professional, patient, and fast. The whole process took me like 10 minutes.

Wouldn't even give them a star. I'm not sure how the postal service is still around. They are literally at the bottom of every category for any kind of service. Ordered $100 brand new book and showed up completely torn open and wet. Called and ofcourse no help at all. Guy just said go online and hung up. GREAT SERVICE USPS. This is why no one like to use you for anything. Hopefully you go under soon. I will never use you again.

We had a passport appointment at 9 a.m. today for our 2 sons and Suzanne was super wonderful to work with. She was knowlegeable, helpful and very nice through the whole appointment. She even saw that my husband and I were submitting our renewals and she assisted us with getting those mailed as well. Just really wanted to recognize Suzanne's great service today! Very happy with the service we received!

While the woman who helped me with instructions for international shipments (donated clothing for a rural charity) was knowledgeable and pleasant, the wait was long and the automatic door does NOT work. Trying to navigate my walker and packages and open the heavy door was problematic to say the least. My primary concern is the mail carriers, we regularly receive mail for the whole neighborhood in our box and vice versa. Today, 12/1 we received two bills that were due on 11/4. Perhaps the USPS could pay my late fees and interest? The USPS carriers are rude and dismissive. My experience with FedEx or UPS carriers has always been the polar opposite, they are kind and considerate. Although I have received late packages from other delivery services, there is generally a legitimate reason behind the delay ie weather related issues from the package origination site.

I used the self-service kiosk in the hallway last week on Wednesday in the middle of the week. I just happen to be in the neighborhood so I figured I would stop at this post office to avoid another trip. My package didn’t end up “getting scanned in” until the following Tuesday, nearly a week later. I run a small business and I sent packages out every day. By the time these packages were finally scanned in the packages I delivered on Friday from a different postal location had already arrived to their destinations within the 50 states. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know if they are shortstaffed or negligent but I will never stop in at this post office nor would I recommend it if you have any urgent needs.

about a week or two ago, i wrote a review about how i was having several problems with USPS. one of those problems being that they bent my older brothers graduation pictures which clearly stated on both the front and back to not bend because the package contained pictures. i complained to the post office and all they said was sorry. sorry? sorry doesn’t fix anything. luckily, the photo company was kind enough to replace our photos. they sent the new replacement photos in a more protective package with a larger “photos do not bend” message on it. yet the post office still managed to bend it. the fact that they bent our pictures twice is just straight up ridiculous.

Can't hold a package at the post office to pick up myself or remove signature require for a $20 item. Can't sign online either. They rescheduled it for redelivery 7 days later instead of the next day. So I went out and bought it in store for a higher price. Now I'll have an extra I don't need. Thanks for nothing.

This is mainly directed at the actual carrier(s) that handle South Hampton in Olathe. We are CONSTANTLY getting other people's mail so I'm sure to bet that our mail at times goes to someone else, and who knows if we ever see it!!!?? Our boxes are clearly marked with names so unless they cannot read, I don't know why this happens so much. I understand mistakes are made, but this happens frequently. They also lost a package of mine a couple of months ago so I went to the post office & they had me fill out a form THEY gave to me as I heard one of them mumble "I ain't never seen this form before, where'd she get that???" So I'm pretty sure I'll never get my package or get reimbursed. Also their latest trick is to PILE PACKAGES ON TOP OF ROWS OF MAILBOXES instead of leaving them at the doorstep. I have pics, I've seen it twice recently. They are getting pretty bad all the way around, especially the actual carriers for South Hampton in Olathe!!!! Here's one pic, but I have more!!!
