Christine (hopefully that’s the correct spelling) made the process of me getting my first credit card SO easy!! I expected it to be an ordeal that would last a long time, but it was so quick and easy. She asked the right questions and got me squared away, I’ve also never had issues with the bank itself but if I could rate her a 6 stars I would!!

Ivan, a manager at this location, did an outstanding job of helping to resolve some serious issues. He was understanding, empathetic, and helped get us a fast conclusion to the issues we were dealing with. If I could rate just Ivan and the reps, I'd give them 5 stars. We've been with the bank 12 years and had some issues along the way. I would tell anyone who uses them to work directly with branch employees instead of using the 800 number for customer service. Their reps are nice but too much misinformation.

I went to the 135th/Metcalf location, Madi Johnson helped me. She went above and beyond to solve an issue I had with a prepaid card and its balance. She was so calm and empathetic and very helpful. Because of her due diligence and intelligence, she was able to get me directed to a live operator and we fixed the issue. I am so greatful that she helped me when it was not required of her. She did much more than she needed to because she cared about me. Thank you Madi! And I love Bank Midwest.

Just completed refinancing our house with peoples. We stayed with Peoples because the did such a great job first time around. Tim Franklin & team, as expected, did a great job this time as well. Everything went through quickly and without a hitch. GOOD JOB.

I had a problem of over the limit on online deposits. I am leaving town and I needed to get these checks deposited. I was helped by Tiffany Z and she went the extra mile for me. It took a couple of call and seeing the Branch Manager, but she didn't give up. She listening, got the story right, and pleaded my case and stayed with it until she satisfactorial took care of my problem and made 2 calls following up. I was very impressed and pleased

There's only one lady that I like talking to. The women behind the desks are pushy and occasionally have followed me up to the counter trying to get me to do stuff. For example, small conversation leads to me saying "Yeah, I'm glad I got a new car!" And next thing I know I'm grilled with "Who did you get your loan from? What's the interest rate? Wanna refinance your car through us?" I even had one woman go into a dialogue with me where she kept asking, "where do you work? You work out of home? Where do you live? How do you do that? Who's your business account set up with?" Finally I had to tell her it was none of her business. I went to go apply for a loan and she was the only one available so I did it with her. She failed to tell me your credit score needed to be a certain point to get approved and later on I was denied. She could have saved me the trouble of losing points and time if she were to have been honest. Their customer service is a joke. I had $140 in fees even though I had checked my account two minutes before cut-off time and I was still fine. Apparently four things decided to post in a two minute time frame. I spent an hour on the phone trying to get it resolved and I got hung up on twice. I just feel like I can't trust banks anymore. This is the fourth bank I've been with and am considering just loading all my paychecks onto a prepaid card. I can't stand this anymore. I banked with Bank Midwest 12 years ago and they were NOTHING like the money hungry greedy feehappy lunatics they are now.

Do not be misled by the signs of "Bankers that care" and "Common sense lives here". Went in to close an account after a death. I was told all the ways they would delay the closure. Then the rep tried to upsell me into rolling the money into loans that I do not need. She tops it off by telling me how lucky I am that I was left money and how I can go shopping. Yeah, cause I totally wanted the money rather than 15 more minutes with my family member. Thanks for all the trauma.
