Senek in the ladies shoe dept made my day. Found shoes I loved but not in my size. She got me all fixed up with a direct ship order and my shoes should be here in a hot minute. Thank you Von Maur! Received my shoes in TWO DAYS! Love the soft material and the nude color. Beautiful.

A nice selection of items... a bit overpriced though. The decor made me feel like a mannequin might come to life and I could start a long and lustrous career setting up window displays. I kept looking for Hollywood, but he was nowhere to be found. Oh well! Nice place though!

Good luck trying to get help in the women’s shoe department (especially if you’re a minority). I used to love buying my shoes at Von Maur, but I now refuse to buy my shoes from this store (Wichita in Towne East mall) because their saleswomen are rude. They’re always standing at the cash register and will stand there glaring at you. I’ve been to Von Maur at least four times in the last couple of months and I noticed that while I was trying on shoes in their clearance room how some of their employees were greeting and asking to assist other customers (Caucasian) in the clearance, however, not one time has one of them said he’ll or asked me if I needed assistance, so I walked out.

Such nice people work here. All I knew was the name of what I needed. Walked in, and the first person who looked at me was an employee who asked me if I needed any assistance. I shared what I needed, and this person walked me over to the department where I was handed off (very friendly exchange) to an expert who had what I needed. I spent a lot of money and left happy. My wife loved the gift.

I love Von Maur! The selection and customer service is the best around. I recently went to the women’s department in search of new jeans. I was welcomed by Bobbie. She was incredibly helpful. Bobbie helped me pick out lots of options. I ended up buying several pairs and will be back soon to shop with her again. 😊

Von Maur is a very nice store. It is clean & up kept well. However, it is VERY expensive! You will find a lot of luxury items here. I don't shop here often. The staff kind of steers clear of you unless you look like you genuinely have money & intend to buy something. Otherwise, you are just kind of passing through.
