Best bank in Pasadena, California (CA) 2024

This Chase Branch has been completely renovated, including the elimination of all bank tellers. I went in yesterday to make a cash deposit into my business account and was a little disoriented when I entered the branch. The interior was nearly empty, except for a restaurant-style table with a PC on it, and an ATM-style machine against a wall. I looked for someone to talk to and a pair of people walked next to the ATM, I thought to help. I told them what I needed to do and they instructed me to use the ATM. I told them I don't have an ATM card for my business, for security reasons. One of the two - apparently the bank manager, I think (though I'm not sure) - actually told me to go to another branch as they were all Digital now and couldn't help me. What kind of bank can't accept cash deposits? What kind of bank sends customers packing, telling them they can't help? What kind of bank eliminates nearly all the people that used to be there to help? What kind of bank? The kind I no longer go to. ~Michael

After having left another bank because of their wretched and haughty customer service, it’s been a delight to do business here with this US Bank location. They have been so courteous and friendly every time I’ve gone in, despite having to work under strict Covid-related guidelines. Every staff person there knows the entire banking process, so there’s no waiting to deal with “the right person.” Everyone is friendly and above all, knowledgeable, and US Bank goes overboard in trying to help and please their customers. I couldn’t be happier with the organization or their policies. Thank you, US Bank! ~Susan

I work @ WeWork and started an account to make my life easier and I love being about to walk down deposit, take out cash, what ever I need. They are small staff don’t expect so many workers but for a small bank it is perfect and they are always ready to help me and send me on my way. ~Stephanie
