Been with these folks a couple years. They've helped me get back on track with a lot. Very receptive. Very genuine. Whether it be online, via phone, or in person, I have had great experiences. Would have given them like 50 stars but no lemon bars or espressos in the lobby. so sad. ~Francis

A credit union that takes on one car loan but declines a second when they have the chance to capture my business for both assets is really quite pathetic. The fact that this credit union declines top tier clients due to a couple of slow pays (Not late pays) DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC is comical to say the least. Go get a loan at another credit union don’t bank with these clowns. I’ll be taking my current car loan elsewhere as well thankfully. They won’t last too much longer anyways horrible reviews everywhere. Solid 1.8 out of 5 on the BBB. Makes sense so much for being “member friendly.” ***UPDATE*** We got the car the next day and at a MUCH better rate than CU of CO would have offered. So regardless I was getting the vehicle its a shame they dont want to keep business in house no matter what we were getting that payment and vehicle. Their underwriting department is an absolute joke and look how they answer. I don’t want you to talk about my loan details I want you to acknowledge the fact that you’re not member friendly and thats why I’m taking my loan elsewhere. ~Brian

I've been baking with this bank for over 10 years my id and card was stolen took the police report and explained I don't have an id or a card and need a new card and got told we can't help. I can understand if I never go into the bank but every 2 weeks I'm in there they wouldn't even look at the police report Once I can get my stuff transferred I'm leaving canvas worse bank ever and the manger is worthlees. Stay away from this bank. ~Ashley

I’ve been a member at Credit Union of Denver for over 10 years and they are typically amazing to work with. Within the last few years they have put their customer service on the back burner. I’ve had several car, motorcycle, and personal loans through them. As well as my wife’s and my personal checking/savings accounts. I have never had a problem, until recently. I went in and spoke to the CUD loan department after selling and paying off my last truck. I gave the gentleman details of the new vehicle I was looking to purchase, including the price. He advised that there would not be an issue securing the loan. After talking to the dealership and purchasing the new truck, CUD DENIED my loan. I was then forced to go throughout the entire loan process again (with a different CU), and was approved with no issues. For that, I will be seriously considering taking my financial business elsewhere, and withdrawing myself as a member. Thanks for nothin’ CUD! ~Bobby

Go to another location is you have Canvas CU. I came in, needed a teller.. there were two tellers, neither were available to help, I had to wait for 10 min.. they never welcomed me in, they just talked between each other, and acted as if I didn’t exist. Like there were no customers, no line, two tellers, and nobody would help me. Whhhaattt? I ended up walking out, not getting what I came in for.. not convenient, not professional, not friendly!
