This store and franchise has gone down hill BIG TIME since the new ownership. Half of the store's products (especially the meat, dairy and produce) are 2-3 days from the expired dates‼️
Not to mention wrong prices posted verses what rings up at the register. Example... Yesterday 7/10/2022 I go to pick up some pancakes and the price was higher than what it rung up for.
I inform her (a New Cashier) of the price difference and she begins to argue with me that I was WRONG and that the computer was right!
So I paid for the food and went back to take a picture of the price posted, but she races back ahead of me and removes the price tag before I could take the picture and CONTINUES to argue with me that I was WRONG and that the computer was right!
I politely asked for a Manager, who took the price tag from her, apologized and refunded me the price difference.
Side note: Had she NOT been so rude, I would have just accepted the new price and walked out of the store. And probably would not have written this review. BUT because she was, here we are 🤷🏾🤷🏾.
However, what really made my day had me in tears 😂😂 was ... witnessing the NEXT customer in line pretty much going through nearly the EXACT same type of experience with the cashier that I did 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂😂.
Now I see why Publix's motto is, "where shopping is a PLEASURE" 😂😂
If you shop at this location, be ready for a "Karen" at the register 😂😂 ~Kristie
