Best bank in Reno, Nevada (NV) 2024

While my overall rating for WF is not close to 5 starts I must give this branch at least 5 stars! I had what I thought was a simple issue/request. I called CS number several times, visited 2 other branches, and still was hitting a wall. When I went into this branch for another service, I mentioned this issue, told them it has been "worked on" for over 9 months, without an adequate answer. I didn't expect them to help with the issue, as I was just venting my frustration, but they had it resolved in record time. They honestly saved me as a customer as I had already opened accounts with another bank and planed to close this one. WF you should thank your staff here for efficiency! ~Tina

I do not even live in Reno have never been to Reno however because of this branch i have closed my account with Bank of America that i have had since 2010. This branch location has cashed over 10 fraudulent checks in the past and the only information that match my account was first and last name (usually common when you are named after a parent) i had fraud alerts on file closed one account opened another and due to teller negligence they still were cashing checks that did not match my address , where from out of state, and from a different bank. The signature does not match and now these branch put me in an extreme financial hardship . I have obviously reported this branch to the fraud department, the Vice President of Reno market, the local police , and filed a complaint with the federal reserve . The teller also provided the person commenting identify theft with my address and my new account number by filling out deposit slips for them. Again, the person used their own id which matched nothing on my account but a first and last name. I wasnt aware that you could just walk into a branch and a teller would help you steal other peoples money just because you have the same 1st and last name, this wasnt one check, it was close to 10 in less than a week. Just protect yourself and take your money out of Bank of America they obviously are not protecting their customers. ~Billie

They are always friendly and kind when I go in to the bank. The welcoming environment makes you comfortable and confident bank at this location. They have always followed safety protocols especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. I would recommend if you were looking around for a new bank to consider US Bank. ~Aeron
