12 Best convenience store in Summerville, South Carolina (SC) 2024

Cashier was very friendly, but when I ask to exchange a propane tank she said called another lady to help and she said it was too late and it had just turned 9 . She was very rude and disgusting toward other customers as well. She was just so lazy and didn’t want to help. Honestly if she doesn’t wanna work she should stay home. Isn’t the first time I have encountered her . Other then that the lady who helped me first was very nice and also surprised when she said it was to late . Hope she gets fired ( it wasn’t the first time I have exchanged a propane tank around the same time) ~Leyroroy

Very rude. Clerk whom I assuming is the owner wouldn’t let me get a word out after I requested a simple receipt before it printed. Just as good measure I sometimes just ask beforehand so they know as it prints. Instead of just saying sure, he sprung into defense mode and began to argue with me. Then when I told him to have a blessed day And went to pump the pump didn’t want to work. Won’t be coming back. ~Alexis

Lost 4 customers today. I stop here every other day and have encountered a nasty attitude from a young gentleman that has a bad attitude to be working in customer service. After my encounter, there was another customer (and the entire store) that experienced the same abuse by this same guy screaming at him. Do better or continue loosing customers ~Sherry

This is my closest store normally Im happy to shop here..... Today a girl named Nancy was looking in my bag and accused me of stealing my drink I bought there yesterday. Nancy stop racially profiling people , she should have been helping the hard working people who work there and stocking the shelf..... Im calling cooperate.... Nancy the racist.... ~laurie

This place needs a complete overhaul. The store is filthy and there’s so much stuff literally thrown everywhere, you can’t even negotiate the aisles. Items are either not priced or they’re placed in the wrong spot on the shelf. Most aisles are empty that are fully stocked at other DG stores so no “supply chain excuses”. The staff doesn’t acknowledge you at all and clearly would rather be anywhere else. Carts were full of garbage. We’re new to the area and it was our first - and last - visit. ~Dorothy

Good gas station, owners run the place and they nice. Every time I come to Summerville to grab some shutters or install some shutters I stopped by this place to get gas because it's one of the cheapest spots I found myself they do have hot dogs and pickled eggs which are really good as well as many snacks beer and soda. They have a unisex bathroom which is clean and everything works correctly just no hand soap or napkins which I could understand because people will steal & abuse and just be inconsiderable so whether if you looking for some gas or quick lunch to put some chili on your hot dog stop by this place that's not bad at all ~J

I've always loved Guerrins since a child for the history, ice cream and kind people. Now as an adult I pick medications up for my mother every month because she is unable to drive at the moment. She is fully disabled, has gone through several surgeries and has several health issues. Sometimes I show up early to eat ice cream or read a magazine and wait. The Last several months on different occasions their is a woman by the name of Sheila and she has been incredibly rude when coming their for my mother's prescription ealier than expected. I don't mind waiting but I do mind having someone who has poor customer service making people feel bad and being rude for no reason. I've seen my mother cry because of the way this lady has spoken to her over the phone because she is prescribed pain medication. She has no idea what a person is going through so compassion should be at the forefront especially when dealing with unhealthy customers. Everyone else has been extremely polite but I hope you don't let one bad seed ruin experiences for furure customers at Guerrins pharmacy. I've heard several similar complaints from other customers about this same woman Sheila. ~William

The pharmacy is ridiculously slow and the drive through is closed for COVID testing only. This is my second trip here today as they messed up the prescription billing to my insurance and the insurance denied it. The first time I was here I waited a half hour in line with 3 people in front of me. I have bronchitis and feel miserable. No sick person should be subjected to this. ~Angelika
