I've always loved Guerrins since a child for the history, ice cream and kind people. Now as an adult I pick medications up for my mother every month because she is unable to drive at the moment. She is fully disabled, has gone through several surgeries and has several health issues. Sometimes I show up early to eat ice cream or read a magazine and wait. The Last several months on different occasions their is a woman by the name of Sheila and she has been incredibly rude when coming their for my mother's prescription ealier than expected. I don't mind waiting but I do mind having someone who has poor customer service making people feel bad and being rude for no reason. I've seen my mother cry because of the way this lady has spoken to her over the phone because she is prescribed pain medication. She has no idea what a person is going through so compassion should be at the forefront especially when dealing with unhealthy customers. Everyone else has been extremely polite but I hope you don't let one bad seed ruin experiences for furure customers at Guerrins pharmacy. I've heard several similar complaints from other customers about this same woman Sheila.

I use to work in Summerville and would often go to Guerin’s to get a hot dog for lunch. Lots of old medical stuff on display and a nice candy selection. Pretty cool place to just look around.

I love Guerin's and have been a patron since I was a little boy. I now have children of my own. It is awesome to see them enjoy their ice cream and hot dogs just like I did many years ago. You cannot help but love places like this that have that small town feel and great customer service.

There is no way I can express in words how great the staff are at Guerin’s. They will literally go out of their way to try to help you. Barbara has offered to pickup things from other stores while she was out just to help. The entire staff offers this kind of help and love towards their customers. I am a customer for life and invite others to drop in and see what a caring family pharmacy is like. Oh and their hotdogs and ice cream are pretty doggone good too.

I switched from Walgreens to Guerin’s Pharmacy about a year ago and it was the best decision I made. Everyone who works there is so friendly and always greets you with a smile and a sincere “how are you?” I never have any issues with refills and they make sure to keep you updated. I highly recommend Guerin’s Pharmacy, if you’re looking for a pharmacy where you’re not just another number in line... this is the place to go!

Corporate Walgreens finally "no serviced" me so much that I stopped giving them my business. I thought I only had other corporate chains to go to then realized that Summerville has a charming independent pharmacy. Wow! Guerin's actually answers their phone, something Walgreens stopped doing years ago. Guerin's calls you when your prescriptions are ready. And their pharmacist is available to talk to you. Customer service, what a concept. Thank you Guerin's.

The highest rating is still inadequate to describe the friendly, personal and professional service that all of Guerin's staff provides. I have never had any reason to complain during the 2 1/2 years as a customer whether in-store purchases or using the prescription medicine delivery to my door at the Presbyterian Home. I have used several other pharmacies during my lifetime and Guerin's is by far the best one. I highly recommend to anyone to use the Guerin's Pharmacy.

My family has been using Guerins since 1973 when my husband and I got married. They have been helping us over the years by staying open a little later so a much needed prescription could be filled at the last minute. They have come in on Sundays and even holidays in an emergency. They look out for their customers. The biggest thing for me is they treat you like family.

Only place I know in Charleston who will order medication that my provider prescribes! This pharmacy is really out of my way and I’m always rushing to get my script filled the day that it’s due to be filled. I don’t always make it there until about the time they close, but they don’t seem to care. Or at least they don’t appear to me to be bothered that I’ve held them up a few more minutes past the time they close. There was actually one time I got stuck in traffic and by the time I got here their door was locked because it was the time they closed. As I was walking back to my vehicle they came out and still offered to fill my script. There isn’t any where that I’m aware of that would do that. I don’t mean to be one of those people that show up at the last minute. I’m a busy mother of four so I run around with my head cut off most days and I feel very blessed that they are all so kind and generous with their time.
