The UPS location is a mainstay for residents Of Highland Park; personalized service for the residents of HP. The staff is amicable, they provide efficient service and know everyone who has a mailbox. Most of the box holders are old guard Highland Park, who use this location to receive mail; instead of their home address. Many residents like myself have more than one home, and this location serves as a central hub. As most of the old guard establishments in HP are, there is a reason for this privacy. This is not a typical drop-off location for UPS, not by any means. The negative reviews are not indicative of the service; the perception may be that staff is rude, which is not the case. I have had my mail sent to this location for over 15 years, perfect service. ~Fran

I waited for over 20 minutes to be helped. I rang the buzzer, called their phone number, and asked random employees walking around. There were about 8 employees 50 feet from the customer pickup area and none lifted a finger to help the growing number of customers waiting to be seen. Looked to be 7 or 8 lines up waiting by time they started helping people. I was told it was shift change and it would take awhile. It was a waste of time for what I was getting. They really need to figure out how to better manage the customer pick up area. Happens all the time. ~Jo
