Chase Bank

Allen the personal banker was super nice and approachable in opening my business account, he expedited the process because I was in a rush and everything was smooth and professional. Him and another woman greeted me at the door . Excellent customer service!!! ~Z

Chase Bank

I'm not sure this review can possibly cover all of the reasons to avoid this bank like the plague, more specifically if you are a sole proprietorship who wants a simple checking account to comply with the IRS who wants your business transactions separate from personal. Such a simple thing is somehow turned in to a year long impossible mission for no good reason at all, well literally for no reason - good or bad - since they've given us zero logical explanation for such difficulties. It is mind blowing what circus act they've put us through, and yet STILL don't have a functioning bank account. I will come back & add the details of our experience soon because as of right now, all I have to express my view are curse words, & there aren't even enough in the English language to describe this experience. ~J

Wells Fargo Bank

The banking experience is very different. You have to scan a code upon arrival and log into the virtual waiting line. There was a lady in front of me struggling and the bank tellers would not assist her. They just laughed. Once I logged in to the line, it stated there was another person in front of me. There’s literally no one in the line. The 2 bank tellers were laughing with each other and just watching the waiting area. Very strange establishment. ~Elle

Frost Bank

Horrrrrrrible. It’s like banking in the 90s. Received a check that was drawn on Frost Bank and since I needed a new business account I decided to come in and deposit the check and open a business bank account. Simple right? IMMEDIATELY felt the racially profiling by Ms. Hafya Chahin. If she reads this she’ll know EXACTLY who I am. I am African and do not appreciate the immediate assumption. It’s rude and WRONG. Whispering by other bankers about me. Ms. Hafya Chahin telling them not to help me with my check. And what’s crazy is she’s not even a manager! Just inserted herself for no reason and then couldn’t even answer my questions as to why she was inserting herself when this transaction doesn’t even involve her. Even the banker helping me was confused. They ended up doing what I needed but with high tension and weirdness I felt in that bank, I took my check and opened an account at another bank that was SO welcoming and helpful right down the street! Unfortunately, they lost out on a multi million dollar client as my parents own one of the largest pharmacies in Africa. Ah oh well, I guess don’t assume and you wouldn’t lose clients like this for racially profiling. I should’ve listened to the horrible reviews. What’s worse is that I was a business banker at Chase, so I know the exact procedures and they were rude, condescending, untrustworthy, and racist. ~Chinedu

Wells Fargo Bank

Disappointed on their customer service! I came for an emergency service the lady(Indian looking)says the banker is on call and can’t take you and that they are closing soon (in 20 mins) I have to come back tomorrow.!!! The Wells Fargo is inside HEB so I went to buy milk as I am paying my groceries (there is still 10 mins left) I see the banker talking to the ladies in front. That’s called being unprofessional! They are getting paid for their work not for chitchatting with other ladies while I am in need of the banker service! I will never come back there!!!!! And I’ll make sure to tell my family and friends not to go there anymore! ~Aisha

Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union

We went in for a service that required us to meet with any of the officials of the credit union. We had to sit and wait for an hour at which point we knocked on the door of the manager to get somebody to tell us why nobody was attending to us. She then helped us. Earlier, after waiting for half-hour when we approached the credit union teller to get someone to help us, she simply said that we have to continue waiting until one of the officials became free, or come back later. It clearly showed that they are not considerate of the customer's time spent just waiting in their branch. ~Utpal
