5 Best cell phone store in Lynchburg, Virginia (VA) 2024

When I entered the store I was greeted right away. There was only one employee Sunshine and she was great. She was waiting on someone that required her calling for assistance and another person was waiting for help and I needed a few accessories. She helped me while the other customer was speaking to someone on the phone as my request was quick. More staff would have been a plus not only for customers but also for your employees. ~Dawn

Josh was super. The customer ahead of me said he was a Godsend. Shr was not wtong. He went so far above and beyond to help me get a phone for my invalid brother. GIVE THAT BOY A RAISE! ~Carole

Allow me to explain just how horrible my experience with this store was. I started my day looking to buy a phone, they did not have it so I purchased an equivalent phone from Best Buy (Galaxy A52 5G). I went home to check the phone's compatibility on the Boost network. After confirming on the website the phone would work, I called up this store to get a sim card. They said they had them. I went in and none of their cards worked. They then told me to go to Best Buy and get a card from them. After doing so, they then said that card did not work and that the phone was not compatible with their network. They then tried to sell me a phone from their store. Frustrated, I went home and called Boost Mobile support. They explained the phone needed a specific sim card and would send it to me free of charge. I got the sim card today and the phone works great, no issues. This store ran me around for HOURS, wasted my gas, and stressed me out for no reason. They took no initiative. Best Buy knew more about your network than you. If you are in need of a Boost Store, go to Forest VA or order what you need elsewhere. If you have questions, call Boost support. You'll get much further using those options. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Stay away from this location. ~Phil

I had my Samsung S7 for many years, but when the camera failed and it could not be fixed, plus the battery was not stellar, it was time to look for a new phone. Loved the Samsung phone, so started researching and looking for deals in my area. After reading about the A series, and Metro by T Mobile, I headed to the store in my neighborhood. I did not have to wait long. Annie one of the two sales associates, showed me the Samsung S53, what it would cost and an unlimited plan. Out the door I paid $123.69, and felt I got a good phone with a great camera. Plus an unlimited plan for $50 a month. However, the experience of having a competent salesperson in Annie, who was multi-tasking helping to answer an associate's questions, while sending files (photos, contacts, etc.) to my new phone, made the experience so stress free. I would highly recommend Metro, and Annie! ~Carol
