I got my transmission completely rebuilt. It lasted only 16 months. This was after paying 1800 dollars. Then I try ask it to them and get them to look at it for almost 100 and then I'm told they can just add that to the bill when they fix it. They was asking for 2400 to rebuild it this time. Wouldnt give me an explanation as to why it broke down or nothing. Just said it was bad. I'll never go back to get my transmission done at this place.

The front desk customer service lady was professional and personable, and she took careful notes of my vehicle concerns and communicated that properly to the shop technicians. The team properly inspected by transmission and reported there was no issue with the transmission rather other mechanical parts not transmission related (and minutes before their promised completion time). The team suggested a general mechanic and recommended parts that perhaps needed to checked that were not transmission related, and they offered a highly rated local shops. With all the time they spent attempted pin down a potential transmission issue I reported, the owner or manager elected not to charge me anything despite an agreement for diagnose fee at time of service. The team is clearly honest, ethical, provide excellent customer service, and clearly have staff that knows very transmissions well. They are not guessing nor rolling dice nor wasting customer dollars on unneeded work. I highly recommend the team if you need a transmission expert and appreciate a local hard working honest team of experts. Service: Transmission

My fiance had to take his truck to them with what we thought was transmission problems. Thankfully it was just the torque converter. They got it fixed in a timely manner, and saved us some money. Will definitely use them again if needed.

04 Chevy Tahoe with 17 year old driver. They rebuilt it 3 times in a year and never gave us a hard time and only charged us for the original rebuild. I don’t know what went wrong: young driver, Chevy transmission or bad luck but they will stand behind the warranty. I traded it to Allstar so thank you for that. Service: Transmission

I had a transmission go out in my 2010 Chevrolet 4500 bus on my way from Texas to South Carolina. I looked at several transmission shops around and saw that these guys had great reviews so I decided to make the extra hour drive in the bus there to get the transmission rebuilt. I had to baby it there but made it successfully. They got the bus fixed up by doing a complete rebuild on the transmission and they had to change out the radiator cuz the transmission cooler portion of it was plugged and they couldn't back flush it to get it free. Once completed my wife and I made the drive in our car back down to Louisiana to drive the bus back home and successfully made the trip back to South Carolina with no issues. It's still running good.

Did an amazing job on my truck I had a transmission rebuild on my 03 trailblazer a year ago and it still shifts smooth . Had to have a rear main oil seal changed this week and they did an amazing job on this as well. They told me a certain day I’d have my truck back and I had it the day I was promised. I was driving back to Texas, after vacationing in Florida. Transmission went out on the drive home. Had vehicle towed to nissan dealership. Was told transmission was bad and I needed a new one at a cost of around $5500. I called Transmission Specialist and spoke with Beth. I told her the situation and asked if they could help me out. Beth got my car towed from Nissan dealership to their shop, new Transmission, from Nissan, installed and finished in 2 days, with a savings of around $2000 compared to dealership. I highly recommend Transmission Specialist to anyone who needs Transmission work on their vehicle.
