The team was all nice including the delivery team but I was sold a broken washer that cost around $600. I called the business back for a refund they kept on putting me through different departments while I kept on saying I want my money back because as soon I got it it wasn’t washing my clothes at all but they keep on offering a technician to come up and check the washer machine while will takes weeks which I don’t have. I gotten my money back I would strongly recommend of just buying a new appliances.

Very disappointing experience with Charm City. I ordered a stove from them, knowing that it would be a refurbished appliance, which ordinarily would be fine. However this particular stove leaked an enormous amount of gas (this was verified by the technician who came out to assess the issue), one of the knobs was broken (see photo), there were dents in the exterior, and it just looked dirty and spent. I would have been fine with the cosmetic damage but the gas leak was dangerous. They did agree to take the stove back but they would not refund their delivery fee, which should be refunded under the circumstances. Their preference was to replace it but I was unwilling to take this risk, a lot of gas was inhaled during the month it sat in the kitchen.

When the delivery drive came into my house he said that I had a lot of steps to go up. So then he lied about the measurement of my stairwell so that he did not have to deliver the items.

And my service called and repair after 4 weeks 3 days has not happened. This morning I left a message practically begging for a return call because I’ve done business in the past with good results. I had to purchase a used fridge from this company. It is not keeping cold. Not only that but they did not take away my old fridge as promised and were rude. I called to try and get the to pick it up but they refused again. I believe my refurbished fridge is still under warranty and you bet I will be calling to get them to fix or replace it. However based on their customer service I bet they will find some way to weasel out of it. I dont trust them and their work is shoddy. Edit: RE your reply: no there was no sign of infestation

We wanted to buy a large stand up freezer. Found Charm City through Craigslist. They are located in the city and the warehouse is not pristine - in fact, it is just a warehouse. However, they had lots of dented appliances, several which are brand new. They had about five units to pick from. All the units were plugged in and running (most with thermometers). We found a unit (again - brand new) with a just a few dings on the outside (which I covered with appliance paint) for less than half of we would have paid at a hardware or appliance store. They also did a great job of delivery. We are very happy with the unit and their service. They gave a 60 day warranty, but we have not had to use it.
