The day BEFORE I went to the Verizon Retail Center I called and it was apparent that VERIZON OUT SOURCES TO THE PHILLIPINES - the experience was uncomfortable for me and the representatives ( I called 4 different times hoping to get an American) the communications or should I say the LANGUAGE BARRIER was unbelievable. How or why would a company as large as VERIZON out source to "contractors"inthe PHILLIPINES when there are so many Americans that are seeking employment opportunities. Anyway after being unsuccessful by phone I went to the Capital Heights, MD store the wait was lengthy, there was only two employees working and the person that waited on me had no clue as to why a strange person's name is showing up on recipients phone with my number and his only suggestion was for me to Get A NEW PHONE ...Verizon reps are not there to help solve your issue(s) they are there to convince you that you NEED A NEW PHONE...after wiping the screen clean and removing the case I was told "THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO REPAIR YOUR PHONE" because my phone is old and the screen was cracked (a hairline crack)...huh all he did was flip it over front to back and back to front looking at it without turning it on or testing it then he became persistent and focused on one thing only and that was making a sale...I'm frustrated with the greedy predatory tactics used by Verizon. VERIZON RATES ZERO -0-.

We have internet through Verizon and today an associate showed up at my apartment trying to speak with whoever pays for the service. He kept knocking and saying "hello?" When I answered and said my husband pays for the service, he was asking what time he'd be home. I'm not at all comfortable with him asking that and told the man to call him. I did not directly answer on when he would be home. This makes me very uncomfortable, especially considering there was no notice on this drop by visit. My dog was flipping out the entire time and we both were on edge. The associate was kind, but still this isn't okay and makes me feel unsafe. He tried to talk to my neighbors too and they sent him away immediately. Whatever he had to say, it should have been dealt with in an email, letter, or phone call. Especially since the associate said he was visiting for something to do with phone call complaints they were getting, from what I was able to hear over my dog's barking.

This was my third visit to this location and as always the staff are amazing. They provide every customer with white glove service. Left feeling great about my experience as usual. Trevor, the store manager, excellently juggled the busy store while making everyone feel special and fairly serviced. Will definitely recommend this authorized dealer to anyone using Verizon.

I experienced great service at this store, HOWEVER there is no air conditioning! Went here last week it was 98 degrees outside and probably over 100 inside of the store, purchased two phones and ordered one. Came back to pick up my other phone today still no air conditioning. How can you be open for business in the end of August with no air? Whom ever runs this store should be ashamed to have people working in such conditions. I was sweating so bad bum clothes were wet.
