This location is clearly in need of some upgrades, but I like the layout, and how things are spread out, over 3 floors. The front desk staff are always kind and courteous. The weight room is a bit hot and musty, and could be a bit bigger, but has everything you need. My biggest complaint is that people DO NOT re-rack weights. There were 6 plates on each side of the leg press! That’s just disrespectful and LAZY, and it’s never been this bad at any other gym I’ve belonged to, but this is not the fault of the gym, rather the lazy members.

The gym it’s self is great has what you need. How every the staff is terrible and the personal training management is the worst I have ever seen. I have been in personal training 3 months and have gone through 6 trainers all saying management is terrible. Not to mention my trainer today said they were leaving only after 2 weeks. Kelly the VP of the region could care less about my concerns and is less than willing to help with my issues. She refused to make eye contact with me during a conversation. Kelly also was suppose to call me after I had spoken to corporate but I had to track her down in person because she refused to call me. Not to mention they want me to keep paying but refuse to hold up their end of the contract with “small group” classes to where trainers don’t show or cancel and hour before with no communication. Avoid personal training at all cost it is the worst run operation every, the higher ups are only concerned about money and reputation but don’t do anything to fix their reputation.

This location Towson is a beautiful facility with excellent updated equipment, very clean including locker room and beautiful swimming pool. One drawback is it's in center of city so parking isn't free.

Make sure you don't leave anything in lost and found. Even if you call them after the fact to relay to them you left it and you'll be in the next three days....staff got rid of it saying a third party contractor comes in and removes all lost and found. They don't have a schedule for them or tag anything when it was placed in lost and found. The manager told me "it's not his responsibility" I'd understand after two weeks but three days?!? Awful, take some responsibility.

Been a member of this gym for 2 longs years. Going in person to cancel my membership tomorrow.(1/3/22) The reason? The gym closes at the first sign of inclement weather. 2 inches of snow in the early morning should not close the gym down the entire day. The gym is also in dire conditions. It's shocking that it passes any sort of building inspection. Toilets and drinking fountains don't work, doors don't even open or close right and the "work order" stickers are piled up around the space. I was hoping with the esporta changeover things would be different. However I was sadly mistaken. All of these problems fall squarely management. My advice? Clean house. Fresh start. These people don't have the customers interests in mind. Do yourself a favor and find a gym that cares about its members and isn't trying to bottom dollar literally everything.

I have visited LA Fitness in several states and most of if not all are in great shape. It is mind boggling how poor the condition of this gym is. On any day of the week, several of the following items are broken, the toilets need service, the showers need service the sauna needs service, the hot tub needs service the equipment needs service. It’s no surprise the membership is declining as most other gyms in the area are new and clean. I challenge you to find another gym any where that is in worse shape than this one.

I reached out to Shawn and haven't heard a reply but I explained I'm not interested in this gym. I was extremely disappointed with my visit. I asked to buy a lock for the locker room and was told you don't do that. However when I went to locker room I noticed they have lockers that take tokens. Another disappointment was the fact that my cousin requested I check out your gym, she belongs to LA fitness. She had come to your gym twice that week but when she took me was charged a fee because she pays for a multi facility use but not multi state. No one even cared to address her concerns at the time of our visit.

This place is covered with litter, trash and is dirty. Equipment broken, not working and DEFINITELY not worth how much you have to pay to go to this gross excuse for a gym. Staff sometimes is there to great you, sometimes not, who knows???? You get a "complimentary" session with a trainer, and all he does is tell you hot fat you are, not tell you just a general work out plan that would be good for you, he just pressures you then and every time you see him walking around to sign up for a whole year to train with him. He even was like, I know your getting married and I don't thing you're going to look good in your dress. Like dude stay out the f my business you have no right to at that. Unprofessionally, not clean, gross mess.
