My family and I have been here for years. Good mix of weight and cardio machines. The staff no matter who have always been friendly and helpful. Always loved that they have a stay and play for kids if you need to workout.

The Y in Perry Hall is a very supportive, friendly , and comfortable environment to exercise in! The choice of classes( although limited during the pandemic) are good and the instructors(my favorite instructors are Anita and Ashley) are very good at what they do. They are also very encouraging and will help you to improve your workout. Overall, I give the Y in Perry Hall a 5 star rating!

Should be ashamed to call themselves ymca! Not only is this the smallest and least equipped facility, they blatantly disrespect the neighborhood by blasting techno music in the parking lot and using a loud speaker. I lose sleep and business. I can't even work from home during the pandemic. They start as early as 8 in the morning and go as late as 8pm. Complete disrespect.

They cut the daycare hours. Now there are no sundays and only 4-7pm Monday - Friday’s. Also they let my 18month old put markers in. Her mouth. I told them don’t let her get the markers. It’s a ghost town right now, which I enjoy. And they seem to be keeping everything clean.

The gym is small and the hours are restrictive (I am biased because I am a night shift worker), but it's a nice place to workout. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The equipment is good quality. And there is not an overwhelming amount of people working out during peak hours.

We love this gym , it is always clean and you can easily get on cardio equipment. The women who work in the stay and play are amazing . They remember my son's name and I know he being taken care of well when I am working out. Also love that they have the option for date nights.

The employees are very nice and courteous! The facility is always clean and well kept. I love how close to my home it is, it allows me to get to the classes easily. Although I wish they had more children's activities, I do love what this location has to offer.

I love the supportive atmosphere at my local Y. All the staff know my family, especially my preschool-aged son, and are very kind to us. They offer a great variety of classes for me, plenty of equipment that my husband uses, and our son loves the stay and play.

I love the Y- the classes offered that are a part of your membership are always top notch. I feel comfortable knowing that my two children are well cared for while they are in Stay and Play. I love how the staff has made an effort to get to know my family and I since the first day we joined back in Feb 2017. From the people who work the front desk, fitness floor, and management have all been great. The Y is unlike any gym I have ever belonged to- I have tried other area gyms and never felt like I fit in. I feel at home when I am working out at the Y in Perry Hall!

I like this gym. It was the first gym where I participated in a class. The instructor and other members were very helpful and worked to ensure I was not over-extending myself so as to avoid injury. I have found Staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable the couple times I called upon them to assist me in determining which machines to use to work specific areas of my not-really-athletic physique. I find the facilities to be very well-maintained and clean. In reading through past reviews it appears there was a coordinated trolling effort a couple months prior to this review to discredit this gym. Be leery of those reviews.
