I took my 10 year old daughter there to purchase some shoes. They were very patient and polite as i let my preteen call the shots. Everyone had on masks and they had hand sanitizer.

Why are you closing early?! It is CHRISTMAS EVE! . I arrived to the Shoe City (Oxon Hill, MD) at 6:40pm, IN THE RAIN. The manager “a female with dreads” refused to give me her name. I have photos of the sign and of the gates closed with a time stamp. Even this email is being written before 7 PM EST! This is ridiculous!!!

I came in to exchange a pair of shoes WITH my receipt. I was told they don’t take returns or exchanges after 14 days. The 14th day was yesterday, not even a whole 24 hours ago. I called 4 other Shoe Citys and was told that they would be happy to honor it. I called the supervisor at this location to share this with him, and he didn’t have a care about my inconvenience. He was nonchalant and dismissive. Drove 20 minutes to another shoe city for my exchange. Great customer service and no funky attitude. I would skip this spot and head over to the next one.

LOVE THIS STORE! They always have what I need and the store is clean. No bad attitudes everyone is always happen to be there and help you find the perfect shoe or outfit. I recommend this store all the time. The area is a little rough but they keep it classy .
