Guy came, installed window, and left. Few days later I'm in my car when it starts to rain, and the rain started POURING in my car. They told me they would be there the next day to fix it, but they never showed up. Got an email saying they would be there between 12 and 5pm. But no showed. Called the next day and they apologized for not calling, they said they had to order a new windshield and it would be installed the following Tuesday "6 days away". So I spent 6 days with a windshield that offered NO protection from rain, and when they showed up, they JUST RESEALED IT!!!!! I'm done!!!

On May 31 2022, in the process of them replacing my windshield, the Safelite tech broke my rear view mirror. They informed me that they would replace it. It’s now August and I have not heard back from the shop about replacing my rearview mirror. I’ve called them twice to follow up and both times they said that the part hasn’t been received but they would get back to me. It’s incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable that I’m the one who has to chased him down for updates. It is obvious that is not a priority for them. I will never go to that shop again, and I would never recommend anyone to go there either. They break customers property and then lag their feet in addressing the issue.

I scheduled an appointment for Friday. When I arrived on Friday, they said they didn't have the part, so they rescheduled for Wednesday. When they were done, I saw that they scratched both sides of the hood of my car when they replaced my windshield glass. I talked with the receptionist and she came to see it, but she told me that it was there before. My brand new car is only 5 months old. The scratches were not there before. It seems like the scratches happened when they replaced the windshield, but they didn't cover the surface of the hood to protect the paint.

My son attempted to get his windshield fixed through Safelite Autoglass through our car insurance policy. They sent a text and verbally confirmed his appointment for yesterday June 29, 2022 between around 1300 to 1700. They never called never showed, he also got an email saying they were coming this morning, again, no call, no show. Since tomorrow is Friday, and, the July 4th weekend, my son asked me to call because he was at work. THIS, is exactly why I am writing this review. I called, a woman answered, I explained my sons position, then added I was calling for him because of my concern for the safety of my son driving his F250 with a crack that has grown since he originally called. Her reply was "it's not like his windshield is caved in or NOTHING". When she said this, I first said stop right there, I have 35 years of working in the ambulances and I have seen what a small crack can under the right conditions change into, my definition of a safety concern is different from yours and he is my son. WELL..........................She hung up on me. I immediately called back, she picked up, and HUNG UP again. I then called our car insurance policy, making sure to tell them what happened. In the direct and quoted words from my customer service representative "we don't normally recommend Safelite Im not sure how this happened". I requested that she inform the powers that be exactly about the exceptionally poor experiences we have had with them over the last few days. I tried to write to Safelite to give them a chance to rectify the problem before I decided to come here and write this review. If there was an issue with schedule thats amendable, BUT, her dismissive, and negating demeanor saying "its not like the windshield is caved in or NOTHING" speaks volumes about her education, empathy, sympathy, understanding, respect and her inability to provide a service that she is getting paid to do. Instead, she is getting paid to deflect customers by being insensitive to the needs of others, verbally offensive, disrespectful and negating my safety concerns for my son. Dont waste your time with Safelite, it's clear they dont need my money to keep their business.

Had the mobile truck come out to replace a cracked windshield, covered by insurance. It was a seamless process. Enter all info online, schedule for a couple days later, and my installer called my about 10 min before he arrived. Xavier was excellent. Friendly and professional. Would recommend them all day long. Horrible communication skills! On the day of my appointment, they called me 30 minutes before my appointment to let me know that the glass wasn’t in stock. At least call the day before? They should be mindful of people taking days off to get this service done. The lady on the phone told me she’d give me an update of the glass at the end of the day, never heard back from her. Had to call myself to check in with her. Gladly took my car else where.

This place has been doing commercial truck for years. They took my appointment over a week ago. They confirmed my appointment today and in the 11 hour backed out and said they no longer do commercial trucks. Misleading a regular customer for over a week is bad business. Since they will no longer be doing our commercial trucks and the way they conducted themselves with this last order, they will not be doing our vehicles. We have over 60 cars, trucks, and vans.
