I had an excellent experience at the Dartmouth Petco yesterday! Me and my adorable companion Henry went in hoping to see Ferrets, for it would be my first time seeing them in person. To our immense delight, there was a litter of baby ferrets on proud display right as we entered the store. After fawning over the cuties for just a few moments, we were then approached by a Petco employee named Ben, who will now and thusly be referred to as 'Petco Jevah'. Petco Jevah took the time to kindly and pleasantly tell us about the ferrets and educated us on their care. Petco Jevah then invited us to the meet and hold the ferrets, which was a huge highlight for us. We didn't feel rushed and felt very welcomed by Petco Jevah, and our experience at this Petco was above and beyond thanks to him and the adorable ferret babies. 10/10 would recommend

Ben was an absolute delight to work with. Was very kind to my niece who asked him so many questions and he was so kind and took his time. Logan is also wonderful who always answers my aquarium questions no matter how silly they may seem.

My daughters wanted a pet and we went to Petco to purchase them and a kit. The guy who works the Aquarium Department is the worst person they could have placed to work in the Aquarium Department. He was rude and couldn’t be bothered with kids wanting a pet. Then came another female employee to the rescue. She was upbeat and helped us with our new fish family. I can’t say enough great things about her. She helped us pick out fish and supplies. This female is what made the visit exciting. My girls were grateful for all her help! I went to the store to purchase fish for my clients pond. When entering I was greeted by the cashier. She directed me to the Aquarium Department for further assistance where I met Ed. Ed is professional and knowledgeable when it comes to fish. He educated me on all my fish needs. Outstanding service is what this store offers. I highly recommend this place for all you pet needs. The cashier was outgoing and professional offering me all the advice about direct shipping to my home. 7/30/22

Maggie is the sole reason I choose grooming at Petco. Maggie goes over and above every time I see her. During this recent groom, she went WAY over and above to make our experience excellent - she did things she did not need to do and things I would not expect anyone working at Petco would do. She remembers my dog's name and loves on him as if he were her own. She knows what to do to put him at ease and reduce anxiety. She truly cares. She shares a wealth of knowledge to help me be a better pet owner. She advised me on a better-fitting collar. Every time I get my dog done by her, he is the softest and cleanest dog I have ever seen or felt. And it lasts for weeks! This in itself says a ton because my dog is a young yellow labrador - full of energy, spunk and mischief. This woman is a gem - Petco should be using her as a customer relations expert and/or new staff training expert. I cannot tell you how at ease this makes me leaving him in her care. I have never experienced her level of service ANYWHERE else - not at another groomer, not at a vet and certainly not even for myself at a spa. She is simply amazing and I'd try and poach her for my own business if animals weren't her passion. PLEASE RECOGNIZE THIS WOMAN. I WOULD LOVE TO PROVIDE ANY MORE DETAILS OR ANY HELP RECOGNIZING HER IF NEEDED.

I visited the store on Friday to buy my new baby guinea pig,it by far was the best experience. Staff was super helpful,very friendly and was knowledgeable. I highly recommend this petco! Not to mention super clean.

Everyone's super nice and helpful. Well stocked and very clean. Easy to shop with plenty of people offering assistance. Bonus! Genuine pet lovers! We just got back from a hike and had several roaming ticks that they helped with immensely. Now a super fan.

I bring my 2 dogs here to get groomed by Lauren and she is just amazing with them! They absolutely love her and enjoy their time get spruced up. And she gives me a report card on how they were for her. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Very pleased with this pet store. It has just about everything you need for all types of pets. Store prices are decent 👍 and there's plenty of free parking also wheel chair accessible. Employee's are polite and helpful and store is very clean!
