So far so great!!! I loved working with Tyler at Thelen Subaru. All around Very friendly and helpful staff. Ready to answer any questions I had, let me test drive as many as I wanted in order to find the right one for me. Super helpful, kind and very quick! They took extra care Detailing and getting the car ready same day and ready to drive off the lot.

My car is fixed that another dealership said would need a new motor and it was the timing chain. Sydney that I spoke with was great but when I went to pick up my car as specifically asked before going there if I could pay with a check even though it was a large amount and the lady on the phone said yes but when I got there they had to verify the funds were in my account before I could take my car and it was after 5 and the bank was closed. The lady at the desk was rude and then even after I let them talk to the bank they still acted like they were not sure about letting me write the check. When I told her that my ride had already left she said well you better call her back to come get you after I already drove 1 hr to get there and had waited while they were with other customers. Overall I am happy with the service i am happy to have ny car back and Sydney is great and very friendly and the mechanic did a great job but the lady at the service counter was rude and not sympathetic at all.

I absolutely love the service team here ( and sales!) I took my old car in to get an oil change just before I was going to trade it in to Carvana, The level of personal service I received in the service department from Sydney made me second-guess my decision. The next day, I went to the sales team and told them what I was offered, they matched it and put me in a car that day. Through their personal touch customer service they have earned themselves a client for life! Every single time I bring my vehicle in for service it is above-and-beyond white-glove service!

Christian was awesome in regards to communicating with me efficiently to get the higher priority repairs needed done to my vehicle. The service was very quick, too which I appreciate since I need my car pretty much 24/7. My only annoyance was I had one small cosmetic issue under my bumper that I called for in the first place that was not fixed upon getting my vehicle returned to me.

The repair that my VW Jetta required was SO much cheaper to get done here… and everybody was so kind and helpful. Brian especially helped me throughout the experience and he was great to deal with. Definitely the most positive car repair experience I’ve ever had!

I called to make an appointment for an oil change a few days ago and they let me know the next available appointment was two weeks out, but I could gladly come in for a walk-in appointment. I got there and they told me it would be a three hour wait! I was welcome to stay or they could call me when the car was done. I called my boys in Saginaw and asked them to come and get me because I wasn’t going to sit there three hours. They picked me up and I was only half way back to my house when they called to say the car was done. I explained to the technician that I had just left there and was back in Saginaw by this point. He offered to have the courtesy vehicle come and get me and said he would call me back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later he returned my call and said the courtesy vehicle was unavailable. My 17 year old had to use his gas to take me back to Bay City. Not my first issue with Thelen Service.

Recently took my Audi in to have a recall service completed. Brian and the entire service team was very friendly and helpful! They were a pleasure to work with. And the car wash provided WAS INCREDIBLE! Great customer service!

Quite literally the best service I’ve ever received. Sydney was an absolute gem, going above and beyond when I was in a pretty tight spot on a Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend. If you have a vehicle that Thelen can service, consider yourself lucky that you have such a great resource at your disposal. They are top notch. I have left maybe 2 reviews in 15 years, but they are that good. Thanks for everything Sydney and team.

Thelen took my oil change appointment, and with luck, were able to accommodate my early arrival! They also looked up my VIN number to make sure my new Forester had maintenance coverage through my first 24k miles. Great service and I will be back!

They did a great job with my service! Everyone was friendly and helpful! I will happily go back :) I was even able to save myself some time and have my new mud flaps installed! They were communicative, polite, and everyone had a smile. I recommend them!
