We came in a month ago to purchase furniture. From the moment we stepped in this place we were not taken seriously. My boyfriend and I are both young people who the sales people believed they could pull a fast one on. If you are approached by Josh walk out the front door. First he had our furniture shipping to saginaw when we live in Grand Rapids. He then ordered us the wrong mattress. He also opened a credit card in my name without my consent. When I called to have the issue with the mattress resolved they told me they would call me back and they never did. When my couch was delivered there was a huge burn mark and a hole in the front of it. The manager told me they couldn't replace the piece because it “wasn't in stock”. We were in the store the day before and it was still on the sales floor so that was clearly a lie. The scale has tipped when they told us that the warranty ($600) would cover pet damage and it didn't . Our BRAND new $700 coffee table is now completely ruined. The store told us they wouldn't refund our warranty and we would have to pay them to take the piece back. Don't be fooled, this place is one call to the CFPB from being shut down.

Andy was helping us today. We enjoyed being able to browse and he was very helpful with making our decision and talking about different pieces of furniture. We did buy a couch. His coworker, Dandy was also helpful. Will definitely go back and seek out Andy again for another purchase. Thanks so much!

I wish to share with you the wonderful experience I had shopping with Gary at value city furniture. He assisted me and did not rush me. All my questions were answered with nice suggestions. I would recommend inquiring on Gary for your home furniture purchases as well. I purchased a dinning room a living room and family room. I guarantee I'll be back for the bedroom

Krista was great to work with. Price of our purchase was reasonable, time will tell about the quality as we won't receive it for another 2 months. Not warm and fuzzy about the delivery requirements to my area. They only deliver one day a week to my area and someone is expected to be home during the entire "delivery time frame" they will provide 3 days ahead of time, approximately 3 hours.....sorry, not going to take off 3 hours of work to wait for delivery. Saved a nice penny by picking up myself, however still have to put it together myself.....just time I'd rather not spend assembling but it is what it is. Will definitely shop there again and will definitely work with Krista again.

I received my delivery on Wednesday 25th, 2022, and the delivery guys mentioned that the dresser was cracked and they were going to report it so it could be replaced. I have reached out to Value city funiture numerous times about the broken dresser and have not received a call back. I even talked to someone and was told to send in pictures which I did, and still have not heard from anyone and it have been days since the delivery. I will never do business with this company again. They charge alot for outstanding delivery, which I didn't receive. They also forged my signature on paper work I never seen. I plan on suing the company for my money back if this problem is not addressed.

We opted for the delivery and assemble service. The table came damaged and the assemblers made a huge mess in my home (knowingly knocking over my $40 plant, walking through the dirt and through my house). They didn't even offer to clean it up. Love the furniture but never had such a terrible experience.

We bought our living room set furniture for our new home at value city. We didn’t mind making the trip from Kalamazoo and it was well worth it. We were helped by Tim Strong. I don’t even have enough words to say about how amazing he was the whole entire time. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about everything we asked about. He was very very patient and took great care of us. He made sure that we got our furniture delivered and the whole entire time he never failed to keep us updated. I highly recommend this value city because the furniture is so beautiful everything in there is just beautiful!! Thanks to value city my new home looks beautiful and many thanks to Tim Strong for being so great and making the whole experience fun and easy. Also, the guys that delivered the furniture were very kind and just simply amazing!

Curtis and Owen did a great job carrying in the furniture on such a yucky day. They were very personable and were willing to move furniture around until we found the perfect spot. Noah helped me move some of the extra furniture to the garage. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

The person who worked with us was named Tim Strong. He was professional, smart about the products, and very kind. He did not put any extra pressure on us. He tried to get whatever discount he could for us. One of the managers name Michael was also excellent. He too was very professional and hard-working just like Tim. We bought some big ticket items and will definitely be back thanks to quality of the products and the excellence of these two men.
