Avoid online order pick ups from this location, if you have to do a pick up call ahead and make sure they can find your order. I’ve had two separate occasions in which they struggled to find my order. First time was not terrible about 30 minutes after checking in and having an associate look for the item. Second time it was a combined total of 3 hours to get my product. The entire point of online orders is for speed or getting a product that is not available in store unfortunately for me both times it was for a product that had to be shipped to the store so I was sort of held hostage. Hopefully the receiving department can see this and improve there policies but unless you have unlimited time, call ahead to see if they have your item, even then you may need to go into the store as I did after being on hold for 2 hours.

We decided to go through Lowes for our Kitchen Renovation. We ordered cabinets and counter tops as well as small items such as stain and other parts that went with the kitchen. From the very beginning of this process it’s been nothing short of an absolute nightmare. I’m currently sitting in Lowes lobby now for an hour, while 7 months pregnant, while they sort out yet another issue on their end. They messed up 2 panels in our kitchen we had to notify them and they reordered them, lost them and we came to the store and they were here all along, but still the wrong pieces. We had been waiting 3 months delayed at this point. We ordered a small can of stain for the kitchen, 2 months and they still have yet to locate it. The store and the designers have zero communication with each other and whenever we call they tell us who’s fault it is instead of just helping us. Meanwhile it’s been 5 months and I’m still washing dishes in my basement. There’s no one taking any responsibility. The reason I’m in their lobby is because they “didn’t calculate the counter top square footage right” and we owe an additional $4,500, so we are sitting here just trying to pay, but they now messed up the process for the payment, and they again told us it was someone else’s fault. The fault this time would be an 80 yr old store employee they told us was working on the case. Never ever go through Lowes for any work done on your house, had we known we would’ve gone through any other company. They are incompetent and we are literally paying for their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and do a remodel through anyone else, because no one here is going to answer when it goes south.

First off, the manager was ABSOLUTELY rude. I have never seen a manager with this type of attitude towards a customer. We bought our item and was told it would be done at some point... normally places give you a time frame. Came to pick it up after we had to call to see if it was ready. They said it was ready and in the box to go. Not only wasn't it in a box but it wasn't even fully dismantled. Go to a different lowes with better staff and management

This Lowes and Lowes in general has given me the most terrible customer service experience I've ever dealt with. I ordered a dishwasher on 8/22 and bought the installation service. The store employee who helped with the purchase assured me that I would hear back from Lowes and the installer within a few days. Fast forward a week later, I hear nothing from Lowes besides a automated email. No one called me on a ETA of even when the Dishwasher would arrive. I called Customer service on 8/29 to have them check, I was assured that I need to wait a little longer so the store can confirm the product arrived. For reference I ordered this on Monday 8/22. I called customer service on Tuesday 8/29. I've already waited a week. The next day I call again and demanded my installation be done for free and the fee returned back to me. I demanded a manger to talk to me in customer service and the manager agreed to return the fee back. A store manager at the Madison heights Lowes called me to confirm I can come by and pick up the refund. He told me specifically to come to customer service and give them my name and they will give me the money. I go to customer service at the store and the clerks look at me like I'm crazy. They have to call 2 managers over to confirm my story and make me wait 25 mins while they figure it out. The next day I get a confirmation my dishwasher arrived and is ready for the installer. The installer then sends me a email with a appointment confirmation for September 12th....that's TWO and a half weeks away. So after fighting with Lowes customer service for a week and a half their 3rd party installer is now making me wait 2 more weeks. After this is all said and done, it will take a full month for a dishwasher that was noted "IN STOCK" to arrive and then for their poor excuse for a installer to get it installed into my house. Terrible, terrible customer service. Do not use Lowes. They are incompetent and do not care if you have to wait weeks for your appliance.

Clean store for the most part. The employees were very helpful and helped me process a price adjustment that I noticed while browsing in the store. There is also a good clearance section for random items. I come here often for my hardware needs. I wish the electrical aisle was more organized though, it’s often very disorganized and I’ve had to go to another store because I could get what I needed.

I went in for paint samples, Channon in the paint section helped me and his demeanor was so sweet! He was kind to everyone he waited on around me. I really appreciate when people have a nice attitude because it really affects everyone around you. Destiny at checkout was also very sweet and helpful. People should be recognized for that as much as possible.

Excellent customer service. The cashier asked if I was a veteran. I showed my VA ID card and received a 10% discount off of my purchase. They even have a couple of parking spaces reserved for veterans.

Terrible customer service. Placed an order for curb side pick up. Got a call the next day stating that the item was out of stock. The called dropped in the middle of the conversation. Called the store back 5 times before I was able to get a manager on the phone who stated not only was the item in stock, she was able to physically put her hands on it to confirms this. I had to reorder the item and pay for it in cash for a second time, because the original order had been cancelled, a gift card was being mailed to and they were unwilling to hold the door until the gift card reached me in the mail. Went to the store to pick up the door was greeted by a rude customer service rep who refused to listen and stated my order had been cancel. Upon leaving the store I see the door I ordered with huge sign with my name. And I have to wait 10 days for a gift card to be mailed to me so that I can take it to the store and have the entire transaction revered.
