Great place for appliance and TV purchases locally here in North branch

Went to Karls appliance because they had the refrigerator I wanted in stock. I talked with a salesman named Shannon. He did everything he could to make the sale. Shannon even said that he would do anything for his customers, as long as they were happy about their purchase. I bought the fridge and got it shipped to the house 3 days later. Upon receiving the unit, I saw that it had huge dents on both sides of the fridge. It looked liked either a forklift clamped it too hard or straps were tightened too much during transport. I called Shannon and told him I was unhappy with the unit. Shannon gave me numerous excuses why the fridge was fine. He said most of his fridges in the store had the same dents and that it was normal. He said that is how they come from the factory because the insulation was done unevenly in places. I'm sure there were other excuses. The bottom line was that although we paid full price for the fridge, what got delivered is what we got. I told him I want an exchange and he said he would not do that. I said that I want money off since in my eyes, it was not a brand new unit. He denied any money back until I said I wanted to return the unit to the store. Shannon came back with 50 dollars back onto the card. I told him that was unreasonable and his last attempt to pass the buck was maybe I would have better luck calling Frigidaire and dealing with their customer service line. Shannon hung up and I never heard another word from him. I called Frigidaire and after going back and forth with them, a new fridge was delivered 3 months later. I tell this story because for the money I spent, ( over $2000.00) I should not be the one to have to do the leg work to get a fridge in the condition that I originally paid for. This experience has left me no other option but to never buy any appliance from Karls ever again. I would get a different product before I go to see Shannon at Karls appliance. I should have read the other reviews before I shopped at Karls. Many people have had bad experiences. I know this is a long review but I'm sure this will save a few people the headache of dealing with such a dishonest company.

We ordered a washer/dryer from Karls. The salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. Our delivery went well, but we received the wrong dryer. When we called the store, the manager was friendly and worked above and beyond to make sure that the problem was fixed that night. Within 2 hours of calling the store, they had found a replacement dryer and had the delivery team out to swap out the dryer.

I will never shop at this store ever again. I purchased a $1200 Brand New refrigerator at this North Branch location back in Jan 2021 since why not it's local and assuming the good people at this Karl's location will take care of us locals if any issues arises. The brand new refrigerator lasted almost 5 months. Called Karl, their repairmen came out three separate occasions for repairs. And each time they came out supposedly it was fixed and should be working just fine. After the third repair did not resolve the issue (And my refrigerator has not been working for one entire month). I reached out to one of their sales rep to get a loaner refrigerator for the meantime and to see how we will resolve this. It took them 3 days to bring out a loaner fridge. I called back to speak with the manager. The person that I spoke with told me that the manager left for the day and the message will be given to his manager in the morning and something will be done. I waited two entire days no return calls no voicemail. So I reach back out to them in the morning and ask for the manager directly. The manager tells me nobody told me anything there was no message or whatsoever at all. At this point I honestly feel like they were not taking me seriously and valued me less than dog water. So I requested for my money back directly to the store manager. The manager does what he do best and beat around the bush. But at this point you can imagine how I feel. He then tells me okay he can do it since he has refunded a few people before. So I asked him how will I receive my refund? The manager says it will be mailed to you directly. I waited two weeks still no refund check. The manager calls me and says Hi there your check is at the our store Do you want us to mail it to you or do you want to come pick it up? I asked what happened to mailing it directly to me? The manager seems so defeated and ran out of BS to say. I am so disgusted by this place that they so-called business. I hope and pray that no one has to go through what this North Branch Karl's put me through.

Shannon is a very knowledgeable sales man. Very positive atmosphere between everyone working at this store. A delivery time was set for all our appliances. They showed up in the alloted time period. Both delivery men were excellent. Answered all our questions. I will return to buy product from this store again.

I bought and paid for a top of the line fridge ,stove,dishwasher, washer and dryer in November all except the dishwasher was in stock. The price on the dishwasher has almost doubled since I purchased it in full in November. The salesman left a rude message on my voice mail asking if I would like to cancel my order after waiting for months and didn't return my phone call.when,I finally got ahold of someone there and was told 300 are coming into the warehouse.regardless,when ever they received shipment they have not notified me to come and get my dishwasher while being promised I am the first one on the list to get one.i am very dissapointed in your business practice.i still want my dishwasher, but I am tired of being told im first in line after they have received multiple shipments and not being notified to come and get it.

Called before hand for a TV recommendation and Austin said to ask for him. Went to the store & waited for 10 mins b4 anyone noticed me. Austin was stocking & another rep was in the back room. Finally Austin helped me and I bought a TV from him. The cables didn't fit for Dir TV & I called twice & Austin has not called me back from my message 7/27. I will never go back.

Matt was very helpful and efficient! We ordered appliances 2+ months ago, everything came but our fridge, Matt sent a loaner until ours arrives! Our brand new dryer arrived and would not turn on, even though light was on, so he sent a new one! Chris, who came out on day #1 with the loaner refrigerator, was polite and very efficient! Day #2 he returned with a replacement dryer! Again, very polite, friendly and efficient! He's a young man any business should be proud to have as an employee!

We were having a problem with our Ice Maker in our Refrigerator that we purchased from Karl's over 6 years ago. We had a Serviceman from another company come and worked on it but did not fix the problem and then they wanted to just replace the Ice Maker. We stopped into Karl's and explained our problem to Shannon (Salesman) and he suggested something to try which turned out to resolve the problem. This saved us from buying a new Ice Maker which was not the problem anyway. We highly respect Shannon's knowledge and willingness to help and would recommend him and Karl's to anyone.

Bought a washer and dryer here 8+ years ago. Service has been great. Am building a new house and wanted to check opinion/price quotes. With the Memorial Day sale still going, prices are very competitive. Spent close to two hours with the sales rep, Shannon Smith, discussing stoves, fridges, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and even grills. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to teach us the little things to look out for (pros/cons/future repair watch outs). Really good experience.
