I've always had good experiences before at this location, but I went to drop off a car Friday morning at 7 am for an emissions test. I was told it would take at least 5-6 hours to get done or it may not potentially be done until the next day. I called Saturday afternoon to check the status of my vehicle because I never heard anything Friday. I was told they didn't think it was done yet, but they didn't know and wouldn't know until Monday. However, they did tell me it would be done first thing Monday morning. After not hearing anything, I call Monday at noon and I was told it was ready to be picked up. After getting home I see that the emissions inspection was performed Friday at 2:32 pm. No one ever called me to let me know it was ready, I had to call twice and they didn't know it was done Saturday when I called even though according the inspection it was done Friday afternoon. How am I supposed to know when my vehicle is ready if they never contact me?

I needed my emissions test and everywhere I called was three weeks out. After going to 2 other Valvoline locations and being turned away due to too many people all ready in line, the assistant manager at this location told me I could drop off my car in the morning and they would get it done! Very easy! No appointment necessary. I dropped it off at 8am and it was done by 3pm.

They always do a good job, they're honest with you, and the employees seem to be enjoying themselves at work. I went in the other day for my safety and emissions test and he informed me that I didn't need a safety inspection since my car is under 150,000 miles and less than 10 years old. I was so glad he told me this so that I didn't have to waste money on something that I didn't need in order to register my car. Thank you!

I have had my oil changed here the last 3 times plus my tires rotated. These guys and gal are super nice and quick. They check their work also. The head guy does the checking and he is super nice and been a mechanic 4 a long time (per him)(he told me so). Anyway, they have always been professional and courtesy every single time I have had service done there. So yes I recommend this particular valvoline shop.

I went to Valvoline oil change on Bryan road. Katrina, the manager, helped with my services. Her communication was very effective. She went above and beyond to go to an auto parts store to get a special oil filter for a Volvo. She is a Professional!! She needs to be recognized for her work. Went here for safety and emissions, passed fine, that’s not the issue. They removed my front passenger side wheel for the inspection and scratched the powder coating and left deep marks in the metal of the wheel around every lug hole. How do you even do that?!

Today I can in to have an oil change and a inspection. The staff was pleasant and forthcoming with information. They didn’t try to sell me a service I didn’t need or use pressure tactics. Since moving into the area, I have not settled on a service shop until now. If you need a quick oil change, cannot find a better place.

You can take your car anywhere you want, but if you're looking for people that will change your oil, that put YOU first, then you really do need to stop in to Valvoline Instant Oil Change. They're right down the street from my home, they are SUPER cordial, ready to answer questions you have and aren't at ALL pushy when it comes to "but you can also get"s that plague other oil change facilities. They took on the fact I brought my own oil to change and needed a sample to send off to the oil's manufacturer (Schaeffer's Oil - Since 1839) like Champs, and got me in and out so fast I didn't even get to get the chair in their lobby warm. Speaking of lobby, if you're done dealing with shops that "sometimes forget about a broom" - none of that going on here. The place (operating bays, lobby restrooms, all of it) are spotless.
