Stay away from all Nissans and Fords. Start with Toyota then Honda then Kia or Hyundai. Do your research on car reliability beforehand. Get your finances in order beforehand. Google the Hertz Car Sale coupon code to save $350 off the car. These cars are not serviced regularly like a personal vehicle. If you do not have someone to work on your car or room finance wise to spend on repairs - go buy a new car. If you need a value this is definitely a good resource. If you really want to see how bad the process can be, try Avis Car Sales. Cars are cheaper but the buying process is alot worse. Things didn't go perfectly but I was flexible as were the staff. I recommend them highly - conditionally. Do the 3 day rental and save then get a mechanic preferably at the dealer to look at the car.

Picked up a car set up through my insurance company, car was not cleaned inside or outside. Car was not vacuumed, crumbs everywhere, film and finger prints all over the windows. The ousitde of the car had not been washed in a while. In the covid world we love in, Hertz must protect their customers and sanitize the inside of the car. It's obvious Hertz does not take the pandemic serious. Car was returned after we saw it in the daylight. Never again will I rent from Hertz. On my way to Enterprise to rent from a company that cares. We should have walked out as soon as we saw the boarded up store, first impressions should not have been ignored on this one. DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ FLORISSANT if you care about your health and safety.

I went to pick up a rental today the gentleman that picked me up from the repair shop across the street was nice. The the young lady Sam who I had the encounter with, well she was nice. But when I got the car it had hail damage on the hood along the sides and the trunk, it also had a pretty nice size dent on the driver side and all kinds of scrapes and scratches on all sides. It was very dirty on the outside, and the inside smells like marijuana, yet, it was stressed to me no smoking and I don't smoke cigarettes or anything else. I refuse to believe it was disinfected well for my health. Very displeased to say the least. And if I get any type of trouble when I take this lil dirty dinged-up car back, it's going to be hell. I immediately called and reported all of this to State Farm, I took my own pictures and I'm writing this review.

I hate to give this place a 1 star, I only did it just so this can post to the website..this location has the worst customer service IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. The employee Brandon (if that is even his name) Lied to me over the phone and told me he had a Nissan Murano available to rent and once I got to the location which was not even 20 minutes later that vehicle somehow wasn't available. This Hertz Location needs to be closed down completely. THE MANAGER Matthew Ruffin is a low level employee who is titled as a Branch manager. He doesn't have any customer service skills to prove it. His staff has the worst attitudes, they also was leaving the company cell phone out where the public could see customer information. My 28 year old daughter happened to pick up the phone by accident. I need someone from the Hertz headquarters to contact me. This compliant needs to go further up the ladder. These employees are making Hertz rental car a disgrace to the Hertz Corporation.

Arrived at location to pick up prepay rental at 10:00 am as scheduled and I was informed that the systems were down, not just at the Florissant location, but the Airport, and Clayton location as well. I was then informed that they would not be able to process my rental at the moment. I was asked to provide my contact information so that when the systems came up they would give me a call. I realized 4 hours later that I still had nor received a call so I immediately called the location and after explaining what happened to the young lady who answered my call, she place me on hold and no one never picked back up. After holding the line for over 15 minutes, I hung up and contacted Hertz customer service were I was told that the Florissant location was completely out of vehicles. I then requested a refund which I will not receive for 7-10 days. This was very displeasing and of course my plans for the weekend were ruined. I will not subject myself to such unacceptable customer service at this location again. Wish I could give 0 Stars. Hope you have a better experience if you choose to use the Hertz Florissant MO location.

I received my car today due to my car being repaired. They didnt match my car that I drive at all it's a very small car they gave me and the car was dirty. Look like someone stepped out of it and they gave it to me. Customer service was poor and need to be worked on.. I will see how this rental experience will be. I've rented from them before but at a different location and never had issues there but that was over 10 years ago.. hertz went down

When I made the reservation over the phone they failed to mention that you need a debit card from an actual bank institution. They picked me up the morning of my reservation, once I get there they disclose this information. I did not have that type of cash on me which was basically 100 more than if I had a bank debit card. I had to sit at their location because they refused to take me home. I called a friend who brought me the cash. Once I took the car back they said I would get my deposit back within a couple of weeks. I called in April because I still hadn't received it they said it would be another 4-6 weeks. I just called back because I still don't have it they told me they have to reorder the check because somehow it got lost and I can come pick it up next week. I gladly told them if it's not there I will be calling corporate. I will never let my insurance company pick them ever again.

I've rented a vehicle from Hertz on July 25 2018 and was charged 320 for the rental and a 200 dollar deposit which it was a total of 520 charged to my card. When I've returned the rental on August 01, 2018, I was informed that the 520 would be released back into my account. Well the funds wasn't released back into my account and they took another 320 out my account and now I had given them 840 dollars total for my rental. It's ow August 27, 2018 and I still yet have received my funds back into my account. I've spoken with several customer service agents about the issue and they keep giving me the run around and still hasn't released fun back into my account. I've spoken with my bank and they even said Hertz hasn't released anything back into my account. This has been an on going issue and I tried to speak to a hertz supervisor but, the person I was speaking too had an attitude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me. I was told to take my bank statements to a lawyer and have them to give me my funds back and pay for my lawyer and Cort cost because it shouldn't have went this far. If you ever go to hertz for a rental, I recommend don't go because you might have to go through what I'm going through. My mother told.me to go through Budget rent a car and I didn't listen. People, listen to your mother or father they know what's best for you and it's not Hertz

Terrible customer service, I was left stranded by these guys. I made a reservation the prior week for Monday. I called to let them know I was on my way to pick up my car. The representative stated that the car was not ready to come in an hour. I arrived an hour later and the car was still not ready. The employee stated that he will call me when it's ready and come to pick me up. A few hours later I received no call so I called them back and they were closed so now I'm left stranded! Never again will I do business with this company!

When we picked up our rental the employee was very helpful. When returning we had to take the car to be vacuumed because pet hair fell off of out clothes. We didn't have our pets in the car. So the few hairs were enough for him to want to charge us $300. If you have pets never use Hertz! Not to mention they only have ONE employee to help customers on a Saturday.
