I am an ebay seller and this is the only post office to give me an issue with the box or the box size. All the surrounding post offices never give me a problem if you ship using your own boxes please AVOID!! this post office.

Staff helped me secure a new, much needed, passport appointment at another USPS despite their on-site system being down. They answered all of my calls and even gave me numerous calls back to ensure that I was taken care of. I don’t write many reviews unless needed and this is well deserved. Thank you.

I live 12 minutes away from here with a legitimate address. They didn’t deliver my package with the excuse the address was incomplete. I called them to check where my package was next day, a lady let me call back at 4:35 pm and she absolutely knew they close at 4:30 pm. I did call them back at 4:35pm and obviously no one answered the phone. They play games with customers.

Customer service is good but it has some room to grow. It's clean. Operating hours must be longer. And this location should have a self service machine too

I went to take a prepaid package and the lady without scanning it try to charge me 13 dollars for overweight. When I went to the Kearny location they scanned the package weighed it and everything was fine. She was rude and unprofessional and just wanted me to buy another shipping label

I read all of the reviews on all nearby post offices before choosing Harrison. It had the better reviews based on support for passport inquiries. My appointment was at 1:15PM on a Wednesday and I was instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. I was running late and arrived at 1:08PM They only allow ten people in the lobby at a time due to COVID and there were only about eight people before me. There was one guy on the line that had an appointment at 12:45PM, it was now 1:08PM, he was rudely told to make another appointment, I won’t say by who but it seems the man is the supervisor at this location. He wouldn’t even let the man get a word out. Another couple said they had a 1:15PM appointment, like me, but were sent home because the post office had no record of it. You can make the appointments online at the USPS office by the way. So anyway, I arrived at 1:08PM and was called to the clerk at exactly 1:15PM, I think if the line was longer and I had gotten to her at 1:20PM they would have sent me home. So you must arrive 15 min before, it’s better to wait on the side for a little then to be told to make another appointment and go home. The passport clerk was super sweet, she asked me to step aside for a few as they took other customers for packages. I waited about 5 minutes and was called over by the clerk again. Passport renewal Process was fast and super easy, I was out of there by 1:28PM so in total I was in there 20 minutes. Way better than a whole day in Clifton or Newark passport offices. I have to go back for my sons passport as he has to be there with me and I was not aware. All in all, great service, compared to other post offices. PS: I don’t know how it is during busy peaks or Weekends but I recommend going on a Wednesday or any week day around 1PM or after lunch time.

echoing others here, this place is the most rude and unprofessional business I've ever seen. has no regard for established deadlines or professional behavior. go to fedex or amazon - they are professional, timely, and grateful for their jobs.

The woman at the front desk, Gina, is absolutely rude!!! She was rude to me and the first two customers in front of me with her attitude and deliverance, She refused to help me with something that I have been doing for YEARS at the post office. This was my first time ever using this post office, and I truly don’t understand how you can have someone so miserable work behind the desk of a business that deals with tons of people on a daily bases.
