As for the consistency and scheduling, they were great. Showed up when they said and delivered when they said. They loaded my house up in 3 1/2 hours and unloaded it in four hours; they were great in that respect. Although, the corner of my King mattress was soaking wet on the top corner and the base of my pedestal kitchen table is broken in half. I am also missing the base of my birdbath. They never have found it. I have a claim in for the mattress and the table. I am hoping they respond well to my claim and rectify the matter.

Excellent move to Charlotte. From Mark's initial video estimate (who knew they no longer did on-site assessments!), thoroughly professional documentation, and scheduling and coordinating via Lisa, the whole thing was as good as a move could be. NO BREAKAGE. Arrived within days. Crew was unbelievably good - they did the 3 bedroom home + living room + dining room + 2 bathrooms + sunroom in just about 3 1/2 hours. Carmelo was a whirling dervish of wrapping and informed me he had also moved Jamie Dimon. with three tractor trailers full of stuff. (Dimon is the CEO of Bank of America and Carmelo was vociferous in his praise of Dimon and his wife calling them 'down to earth' people. So now you know. Movers to the rich and famous - and me an my kitty (neither rich nor famous). The mover from NJ to Charlotte cost 9,300 with about 1200 of that cost attributed to the shuttle van which was able to navigate the smaller streets of my development. The household goods were then transferred to the 'mothership' which probably brought an additional 2/3 homes to Charlotte. It got here soon because Charlotte is an absolute magnet for moves right now. Cost was pricey but well worth it. Repeating, well worth it.

It is a challenge to get an accurate estimate without the person quoting being onsite. That being said, the move went well and our driver orchestrated all the details well.

Awful experience. Careless handling of boxes, banging into walls. Several boxes arrived at my new home crushed. A few items broken. Mark did not return phone calls after I signed my contract, didn't seem to care once I signed up. Lisa did not seem to want to work with me when I tried to adjust my delivery time, told me no and I would encur surcharges. The movers in AZ had me run errands for them, broke a light fixture while moving me in. Hit part of the building because they drove a truck in that was too big, didn't tell anyone, so in essence this was a hit and run. Hard to believe this company stays in business

horrible. At the last minute, they told my mother to sign a bunch of waivers that essentially removed any insurance on our items. So much arrived broken, and we received absolutely zero reimbursement. Do not trust them!!!

Have nothing but good things to say about my experience The quote by Mark was spot on and price was more than competitive and even less than a number of other quotes Lisa called in advance to make sure we were ready and again the night before giving a time the movers would be there. Right on time and friendly and courteous were Gregory and his crew Lisa again followed up with our delivery date and agin received a call night before from driver and next morning once again on schedule delivery was excellent Great move at resonance cost. Would highly recommend Beltran for your move Great service

There are a lot of scams out there when you are moving, North American Van Lines is not one of them. From the sales person, to the move coordinator, to both the packing and loading team to the unloading team, they made our out of state move painless. Everything was packed with care and made it without any damage, and not once did they try to charge me more that the quote. Everyone was professional, on time, and communicated every step of the way. Using this company was an awful mistake. We were given our first estimate. Once we committed to this company, our second estimate went up over $2,000. This was AFTER selling and donating items that were in the first estimate. The packing crew worked well on the first day, but the second day they were very rushed and carelessly loaded the truck (This was very evident when the unloading crew began placing items in our house) The contents of our home sat in a warehouse for over a week until they driver picked it up to drive across country. The driver was friendly to begin but became very hostile and defensive once he realized many items were damaged. One of the four unloading crew was angry, rude and very hostile the whole time. They didn’t offer and inventory check list until I asked about it and they provided it after half the truck was unloaded in our home and garage. I had carefully labeled my boxes. I was told to label the rooms so the unloaders could move in the most efficient manner. They told me not to bother to label the rooms because they would know which rooms were which after one trip through the house. What a mistake that was. They continued to ask me where each box was going despite the labels. Many boxes were turned upside down and then they piled them on top of eachother which towered over me head. Moving is a most stressful experience and our experience with Beltman North American was the worst.

Craig was my driver and did everything from packing furniture in 1 room to loading 50 or so boxes we had packed. A true professional who was nonstop from arrival to departure and met me at my destination with a very quick offload of my stuff. While i am not looking to move again, i would consider them first. The weight and the price changed several times after we signed and agreed to a fixed price. The price went up $6500 due to your sales rep I would imagine was a poor estimate of the weight. The first day the moving truck showed up the were almost 3 hours late. The second day the truck showed up the didn’t completely empty it from the first day so they had to come back a 3rd day which I had to pay for as well as overtime cause it was a Sunday. So, bad estimate I paid for that Truck was late and then not emptied I paid for that. FELT LINE A BAIT AND SWITCH! Salesman gives me an agreeable price I sign for it them all of the sudden everything goes wrong and I have to pay for all the mistakes. Your company gave back nothing for its mistakes. Let me ask you if you were the consumer would you feel you were setup and taken advantage of? One more thing I am physically handicapped and have trouble walking. Your on site manager made a joke about how when he came into my house that’s it’s about time he saw me walking instead of sitting around all the time. I hope the people reviewing this doesn’t laugh at me too while reading this. Your company should be ashamed how you just kept taking more money and telling me they have no choice.
