I have been taking my dogs to Dr.Luckow now for over 12 years . I will continue to take my dogs and future pets to Dr. Luckow, he is amazing he cares alot about your pets, he is always there to answer your questions and concerns and his prices are excellent and very reasonable. His staff is amazing , his family is amazing and I can't say enough great things about him and his staff , He is the best. ❤️ We love you Dr.Luckow and Staff !❤️

DISSAPOINTING!! I used to take my cat to Dr. Luckow back in 2019 but we moved far away and changed vet offices. After a medical issue arose with one of our cats, we decided to take her back to Dr. Luckow for a second opinion since he was always so great with our cats. What a DISSAPOINTMENT and waste of time that was! First of all, his staff didn't give him the right medical chart for our cat. That clearly ticked off Dr. Luckow and he took out the frustration that should have been directed toward his staff on us. When trying to explain the medical issue and history of our cat, he was extremely rude and kept cutting us off and telling us that we cannot be seen without the medical records of the vet we took her to. When we scheduled the appointment, we made it clear that the intent of the visit was to get a second opinion on our cat. Whether she was seen at another medical office or not, we wanted Dr. Luckow to do a full checkup and give us a diagnosis based on his own examination. His staff did not tell us that we would not be able to be seen without the medical records. They scheduled the appointment anyway. I was taken aback by the level of unprofessionalism and lack of bed side manner displayed by Dr. Luckow and his staff. So much so that we up and left because we didn't feel comfortable with him examining our cat after the treatment we received. We will never waste our time at this hospital again!!

Am coming with my pet for an emergency. They take right away. If am gonna have this place after maybe my pet not die. But, I give with all my heart and mi kid , ty all the doctors assistance that awful day. Is a nice place with a fenomenal personal. Blessings all of you .

First time here. When I called, the lady over the phone, Sam was very pleasant and informative being I was a first time patient. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by assistants who are very cordial and friendly. They acknowledged me and asked me questions. I was seen in a timely manner in accordance to my appointment time. The Vet tech was very nice. She asked me questions and was pleasant to interact with. She listened to me and gave me advice and I felt that myself and my pet were very cared for here. The office is quite small but it was not overcrowded. I plan on returning to this office for future visits on further animal care.

I took my dog there for the first time based on recommendations from my doggy daycare Well Rounded Hound (who are excellent) and folks from the Riverdale Facebook group. My dog is very fearful of the vet and I wanted a vet that allowed me to be in the room during the exam. My dog is very difficult, but both Dr. Luckow and the technician handled him with care. Dr. Luckow took time to explain the different medications and also have me advice about my dog. The technician who was also on the room tried his best to make my dog feel comfortable despite my dog's screaming (he's a Shiba) and jerking around during the exam. The front desk was also very polite and professional. I'm so happy to have made the switch to this vet.

Dr Luckow is very gentle with my cat. His assistant is also amazing. Short wait time, and I like that I can sit in the room while they are examining her.

I've been going here for over 10 years (with some time in between) and I always am satisfied with the care my baby and I recieve. It's usually easy to book an appointment and they have varying hours throughout the week and sat which makes it a lot easier with my busy days. Went here with my big girl Sweetheart, a Staffordshire Pitbulln mix who has now passed and started going again with my new baby a Goldendoodle pup. Thanks BAHR for all you ladies and gents do.

The front desk staff needs to work on their professionalism. Especially, when money is being charged every visit. There should be no reason why receipts are getting mixed up and more. I work in admissions and couldn’t imagine myself mixing up patient’s information. Overall, the vet is not an issue but his staff. Do better.

I have known Doctor Luckow since our first family cat back in 1975. He's a staple in the Kingsbridge/Riverdale/Marble Hill area and well trusted. He's my crazy cat (Monk) doctor now, 46 years later. Keeps my cat calm and at ease throughout the entire visit and the staff are a pleasure as well.

Dr Luchow and his staff took care of our first dog for 16 years and our current 2 for a year and half. Very knowledgeable and accessible. He believes in educating his patients’ owners so that the owner is in the best position to take care of their pets. His staff is first rate. They go out of their way to be helpful. I highly recommend this practice.
