Thanks to the 2 gentlemen at the ER Spectrum Store counter ( today 10-24-2022 at 10:00 am) that quickly resolved my promotion/ billing issue due to a 10/2/2022 counter sale that was in error. 👍👍. My speed is now also at 500 mbps +

I have to start by saying that I had a really tough experience adding a second line to my account. I spent around 6 hours over a week with more than 8 phone calls. So why am I providing 5 stars? I FINALLY got smart and went to the East Rochester store. Dylan Eden went above and beyond to help me untangle the mess that call in support had made. He stayed after work hours when he had plans and worked with his team to get things right. My lesson- use the Spectrum stores - not the call in support. That and seek out Dylan for the best service.

Just save time & visit an alternate location. They didn't listen to the problem, they offered zero solutions and they said that no Spectrum store in New York State would have what I needed. I tried an alternate location & was in & out with the necessary item in 5 minutes. Customer service = the difference between keeping or losing a customer.

Trying to get a new phone, went there twice, after their shipment came in. Not have the phone I was looking for, very popular, should be well stocked but it's not. Was told I was going to receive a phone call which I did not. They ordered it in and the third time I went in after the shipment came in, can you guess? It didn't come in. They said they can ship it to me but it has to be shipped to the same address as my account. I always have things shipped to work so I know I receive them. Ever since I took on spectrum, I've been told lie after lie, by the employees at this location, for my mobile internet and cable.

Hard to believe this Spectrum store does not have much better reviews. After having survived the utterly mediocre customer service and multiple mistakes of ANOTHER Spectrum store (which resulted in my not having use of my new phone for over one week), I went to the East Rochester Store to try my luck. From the moment I walked in this store, I was welcomed professionally by the staff, one of whom actually held the door open for me. I was merely trying to switch my phone number from another cell phone provider to Spectrum--a matter that should have been relatively simple but had been complicated due to the mistakes mentioned above. Fortunately, the matter was most efficiently handled at the East Rochester store, specifically by Victor. He clearly is very knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Spectrum, but what most impressed me was how patiently he dealt with my previous phone service provider. He invested more than one hour on the phone negotiating with several of that provider's staff to ensure that my phone number was finally released to Spectrum. Victor never lost his cool! He then helped me move my contacts and several apps to my new phone. As I told Victor before I left, he helped redeem Spectrum's reputation in my book. Whenever I need any other products or services from Spectrum, I will drive to the East Rochester office from the start!

I've been a Spectrum (Time Warner) customer for many years. About 6 months ago they increased my internet bill by $5 for no specified reason. When I called they stated there was nothing I could do BUT after my current "promotion" period ends call back and they could put in a better promotion (competition on my street increased from 1 provider to 3 within the past year). I called back after my promotion ended and was told that I could not get another one. So on the first call I was lied to. I then asked if I cancel will I be refunded for the part of the month I did not use and told "no, there is no prorating". After signing up with another vendor I canceled my service with a few days left in the billing cycle. I was then mailed a rebate for unused portions. That means I was lied to yet again. 2 lies by the corporation. The kicker is when I returned my equipment to this store I was told by the employee that customers are promised deals all the time over the phone that cannot be made. If integrity is important to you then avoid Spectrum.

I have to drop my review from being a 5 star to a 1 star review based on the service in this location. I moved, and had to set up service at the new location, and when I returned my old equipment to this location I was informed that “because this is a Spectrum Mobile location and not a regular location we can’t take the boxes”. The rep was referring to the boxes that the equipment had originally come in!! I had saved the original boxes for this eventuality. When I expressed my shock that the company Spectrum would make such a ridiculous policy the rep took it personally and became offended. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen. He never crossed the line, but wow was the whole situation an odd one! In short, go to a different location. The reps here can be short and curt if you offend any of their slightest sensibilities.
