Poor customer service . Only 1 teller at a time . And they will put your transaction on hold " for a a minute" just because brinks is delivering coins . They have to attend to their customer first before entertaining brinks with coins .

Like the last reviewer, I have banked with Dime Savings Bank for many years. However the customer service has definitely taken a turn for the worse. I receiced a phone call from branch manager Mrs. M. Trapani related to a banking transaction. Trapani very quickly into our conversation became argumentative and aggressive. Her tone was very hostile and sarcastic. I informed her I felt like I was being interograted. Due to her hostility I requested to speak with the person above her and asked for the person name and phone number. Trapani gave the name Mrs. W. Abrams but refused to give me her number. Trapani said I would get a return call. I informed Trapani that I recorded the phone call and she said it was recorded on her end also. Days have passed and to date I have not gotten a return call. I am disappointed in the behavior Trapani displayed in her interaction with me. It reflects on her character. It's scary that she is a branch manager. I believe she needs extensive training on how to interact with customers and further supervision. I will be closing all my accounts with Dime due to the poor service I have been receiving. Trapani behavior reflects poorly on Dime Savings Bank and is one of the reasons why I will soon be banking elsewhere.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our non-profit organization had an account here with 2 individuals signing... one of the signatories died, and the bank closed the account without notice. Checks were bouncing and when we discovered it and brought it to their attention, they did not even apologize and we had to fight to get reimbursed for the charges that our payees incurred as a result of the bank's error. When we visited the branch with paperwork to fix the problem and add a new authorized signatory on the account, the branch personnel were sullen and acted as if they were doing us a huge favor, not acknowledging their error at all. Would not recommend this bank at all.

I have been a customer for many years! There online banking is very low tech! I asked for the branch Mgr to call me back with negative results! I will be pulling out my money soon because there are so many better choices.
